Reviewing location at 729 E Slaughter Ln.Fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The gyro is great. The chicken is great. The beef shawarma is great. Still need to get around to the falafel.. On top of the great cooked-to-order food, the service is fast. The last couple of times, I've ordered pickup over uber eats. This part of town needs more reasons to NOT have to cross the highway for great food. Fresh Gyro Halal is setting the bar for food on Brandt & Slaughter.
Noticed a new gyro food truck in the area one day and made sure we went back to visit another day. Glad we did because their gyro wrap, white sauce and meat over fries with that white sauce as well is delicious. The food is cooked to order and is served fresh just like in the name. The service is friendly, you have a couple of tables to sit and eat but they don't hVe drinks. They will direct you to the store at the gas station. Arrived late to the hotel so choices were limited. Thankfully, this little halal cart is within walking distance. Stopped by and got a combo wrap, meat over fries and baklava.
