Props to the three employees getting absolutely swamped tonight and still giving me great service.There were so many angry customers demanding refunds and giving them a hard time when they’re clearly understaffed and only have one oven. They were set up for failure, and upper management SHOULD DO BETTER to not put their employees in such a position.Pizza took a long time, but that’s to be expected given the circumstance. I love Gatti’s. I’m a frequent customer. I happened to be in S Austin so ordered from this location. Staff is friendly. I order a pan Sampler. I was very disappointed by how sparsely topped this pizza was. The sampler at every other Gatti’s I’ve ordered from is loaded but not the Wm Cannon location. Also, the pan crust that I paid extra for was not sufficiently proofed so it was pretty flat and dense instead of thick and airy. Disappointing.
