Been a regular since Hoover opened.
Followed him from Night Hawk to Good Eats to Hoover’s on Manor.
Most often I got the fried catfish, but I also savored the fried chicken, chicken-fried steak and smothered pork chops.
Chocolate and coconut cream pies.
.when I was out of town, My wife made Hoovers’s a daily stop - Monday-Friday after work / 2 martinis and appetizers.
