La Posada Reviews
Me and a friend were in there today and she had her service dog a little basket on her scooter and they said that they can’t be in a basket. They have to be on the floor with a leash. They were very rude right when we walked in and the staff was very rude, and even the manager was very discriminatory And they watched us like a hawk just to make sure we didn’t feed our dog and the manager came up and started yelling at us right before we left, saying that we used a fork to...read full review
The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place.
It’s all very reasonably priced.
Can’t recommend it enough.
I've been coming here for 26 years. Family run and you feel like family when you come in. Great margaritas and staff! I love their breakfast, lunch specials (crispy beef tacos(!), and dinner-steak a la Mexicana, Carne guisada, stuffed avocado. We love La Posada!

La Posada is a classic neighborhood Tex-Mex spot serving great food at reasonable prices. Their caldo de pollo, barbacoa, and fajitas are fan favorites, and their homemade flour and corn tortillas set them apart. The restaurant offers ample parking and wheelchair accessibility, making it a convenient choice for many. Guests often enjoy big portions, with some reviews mentioning the number 5 combo that includes a tamale, taco, enchilada, fajita, salad, flour tortillas, guacamole, rice, beans, chips, and salsa for only $15.00. The fresh-made tortillas are highly appreciated, and the place provides free chips and salsa, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere is described as "really just okay," but the restaurant is always occupied, which speaks to the quality of the food. Visitors particularly enjoy the El Pastor tacos, and the food is praised for being delicious, hot, and fresh. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is great. Overall, La Posada is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, known for its consistent quality, great value, and enjoyable dining experience.
