Nomade Reviews
Overcharged for drinks and wasn’t resolved. Disinterested service staff. Also, we left our Yeti cup in the bar only to find one of their team had stole it and taken it to their house as they didn’t think we were going to collect it?!
The owners seemed apathetic and disinterested - clearly a poor management culture.
Food was average but there are far better locations in Austin that treat customers with respect than going to this restaurant! Same owners as Lucky...read full review

Nomade offers a great vibe with its Sunday Social drinks and apps. The covered outdoor seating, equipped with fans and misters, provides a perfect spot on a hot day, and it was comfortable and well-heated on a chilly night. The lovely atmosphere, interesting cuisine, and knowledgeable servers enhance the experience. The restaurant also features a whole plant-based menu, and the food has been excellent each time. The ensalade with beets was quite tasty as a starter. For crudos, the hamache ceviche was a standout, surrounded by a mezcal lime espuma/foam, and the scallop crudo and sikil pak were amazing. The pork belly was also amazing. The jaiba frita, the grilled octopus, and the tempura de pescado were also ordered, with the latter two being the least interesting but still presented beautifully. The drinks are really well worth the money, and they have an excellent and lengthy selection of mezcals, the best tequila selection in town. The front of the house is strict about stopping seating at 9 pm, however, reservations are recommended. Overall, Nomade delivers an excellent dining experience with a Tulum vibe, perfect music, and gorgeous outside seating. It feels like a cool authentic place you might find on Oaxaca or Tulum, and it's all gluten-free with a vegetarian menu. Service is impeccable, with staff like Rob who truly know their tequila and make recommendations. Outdoor seating is mostly shaded with fans, creating a cool, beachy atmosphere. The food includes dishes like chorizo tacos, wagyu birria, flan, and churros, with the flan being a light and not-too-sweet favorite.
