Best roadside food in east Austin
The best pollo asado and sides in town! This trailer is a gem. They also have fantastic carnitas & costillas (but those sell out quickly). These guys are hard working, super friendly, and have their grill set up for 5 stars every time. Plus, the price is right!
I must have gotten a sadly crippled chicken yesterday . I bought a whole chicken to go that was missing both thighs. Served with 1 tiny cup each rice and beans. Although I live nearby, I won't go back. For shame.

Pollos Asados is a delightful spot with delicious and friendly service. They offer a variety of tasty dishes, including carnitas, fajitas de pollo, and al pastor, all with soft and crispy meat, fresh herbs, and sweet corn tortillas. Their chicken fajita tacos are a standout, with excellent tortillas and superb green sauce. Breakfast tacos, made with handmade corn tortillas, are also a highlight.
