“Tonight we dined at Maie Day and Josh was an exceptional server from start to finish! It was our first time at the restaurant and he walked us through everything on how to order and when. Our cups and plates never went empty and he had fabulous recommendations. He went above and beyond with my 2 year old nephew. My nephew stayed well-behaved for 2.5 hours so we could all enjoy ourselves thanks to the bowls of ice Josh would bring periodically for him to chomp on. Everyone left happy and full of phenomenal food and drink. We are still blown away that we could dine for over 2.5 hours with a 2 year old with no problems. We are ready to recommend Maie Day to all of our friends - I hope they have Josh as their server when they go!“

“I had been years ago before the pandemic and I did not remember it being this good. They have increased their quality. Between the salad bar (which has beyond improved), the meat (get the ribeye and tenderloin, amazing) and the service, we had a fantastic experience. Robert took care to make sure our glass was filled and our meat requests were filled. The price seems high, but very worth it.“

“Our waitress; Carli was amazing! The atmosphere was perfect! We will definitely be coming back again, when we visit Austin! I got the Chilean sea bass and my boyfriend got the lamb chops. For apps we got ahi tuna and oysters. Everything was a 10/10“

“I never understand when there's so many booths available and at the desk they confirm that we have a booth for our reservation that they leave you standing for 5 mins while ‘they check that the table is ready'! 5.45 and we are amongst the first diners for the evening. This was our 3rd Capital Grille in the last 6 weeks, each in a different State and we come back because once you get your table service and food are great. Ron certainly gave us a good evening and was very attentive. The bone-in filet was perfection and their cheesecake was overwhelming. Good job.“

“The tomahawk bone in ribeye is a must try with a significant other who loves steak - carrot and potato on the side was a nice touch, not much of a boiled carrot fan myself. Service was great - made reservation adjustments last min due to delayed flights. Would recommend for steak lovers looking for a change of pace from your typical hyped steakhouse.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at III Forks in Austin, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful journey of taste, showcasing creativity and a deep passion for culinary excellence. What truly set III Forks apart, however, was the service. Our waiters not only exuded warmth and genuine hospitality but also possessed an extraordinarily impressive background knowledge of every item on the menu. Their detailed explanations and insightful recommendations made the dining experience even more enjoyable, as we felt truly connected to the story behind each dish. In an era where great service and exceptional cuisine are hard to come by, III Forks excels on every level. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Austin, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. The combination of delectable food and unparalleled service creates an ambiance that’s both inviting and sophisticated—a true testament to the culinary artistry of III Forks.“

“Beautiful restaurant, great classy vibe. Most of our food was delicious, the calamari stood-out as one of the best things we ate. My jumbo shrimp was cooked and seasoned well, but the crab it was stuffed with was sour and bitter, inedible for me even though I normally LOVE crab. The scallops, bread, and brussel sprouts were great, but the lobster mashed potatoes were very dry even with the sauce. Overall we had a lovely anniversary here.“

“Service and food were good! The Miguel's queso was amazing--a favorite at the table. The vampire tacos were ok--I felt like they were a little too salty for my taste. The spicy tuna stack was another favorite at the table. Overall we would go again.“

“We ❤️ALC! The food is exquisite, the service is fantastic, and you can’t beat the quality and portion size for the value and price. Sit at the bar and order the crab cakes, seared ahi tuna with wasabi, steak sampler with Maker’s Mark bourbon and jalapeño horseradish. The brownie and the tres leches are to die for. Brooke and Michael make delicious drinks and pair the perfect wines with each course.“

“I recently celebrated a special occasion with a party of 10 at Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Our waiter, William, was incredible—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each entree was cooked to perfection; I had the Steak Diana and my husband had the Fried Elk and both of our entrees were incredibly delicious. We also had several of their appetizers and desserts, all were delicious. We were also pleasantly surprised by how quickly our meals arrived—only about 30 minutes after we ordered for a party of 10 on a Friday night! The large portions were more than enough to satisfy everyone, and I don’t think a single person at our table managed to finish their plate. Even though we couldn’t see Lake Travis due to it being late at night, the low lighting of the restaurant created a warm and intimate atmosphere. Their menus were easy to read, even in the low lighting, as they light up upon being opened. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and the floor-to-ceiling windows showcased the stunning lights of the Hill Country. We had a reservation for 7 PM and were seated right on time, which is always appreciated. Steiner Ranch Steakhouse has definitely earned its five stars, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing meal. Highly recommend!“

“Ruth's Chris of Austin was truly an experience, and I'd love to share why. Our server, Katelyn, was one of a kind. She walked us through the different steak cuts with confidence and clarity, even recommending the best knives to use and explaining why. Once she found out we were celebrating our anniversary, she offered us a complimentary glass of champagne—such a thoughtful touch. We ordered the porterhouse, a filet, mushrooms, and the lobster mac. Everything was spot-on. The food was served on warm plates to keep it hot throughout the meal, and the sides were both delicious and shareable. We even had enough to take home. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and elegant. A special shout-out to the valet attendant who was working hard solo—he was hustling and still had a great attitude. The GM, Michael, stood out as well. He wasn't just managing from the sidelines—he was on the floor, carrying food, water, and checking in on tables. That kind of leadership shows. I was honestly nervous after reading all the glowing reviews, but now I get it—they're legit. I think I've found my new go-to spot.“

“The ribeye and shrimp were good, as was the wedges salad and loaded baked potatoes.
The server forgot to put my military discount after being asked 2x and never filled my empty water glass even though water was my only beverage.
When we were seated, the table next to us was uncleared from previous guests and we had to look at the half empty plates of food the entire meal, and it remained uncleared when we were finished and left.
It was not a bad experience. However, more attention to detail would have made it better.“
