RIDICULOUS size serving for what I paid! I will NEVER come here again!!! We were told to find our own table, order on your own, tip has to be done BEFORE you can place your order AND the vegetable dish WITH sirloin cuts was the size of a cereal bowl. Everyone elses was a normal plate size. BEYOND upset!!!
Thai Fresh is a great choice for online ordering right now. They have a great, delicious menu and also have some grocery items that could be hard to find in this crisis (tofu & tempeh, dairy and non-dairy milk, some meat too). This menu has something for everyone including vegan and gluten free folks.
They've also worked out a great no-contact delivery system, making us feel super safe about picking up from them.

Thai Fresh is a Thai restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood between South 1st Street and the Twin Oaks Austin Public Library branch. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including pad krapow, Chicken and Rice, and vegetarian options, along with ice cream, coffee, and wine. The staff is professional, kind, and knowledgeable, providing excellent service. Customers have enjoyed their desserts, especially the pandan ice cream, chocolate, Thai tea, and Thai coffee ice cream, which all have great, true flavors. There is also a dark chocolate sea salt tart that is rich and decadent, and it is sugar-free.
While some dishes may be overly bland, the restaurant is praised for its amazing food, especially the Green Curry with an excellent level of spice and the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich, which features crispy, seasoned chicken with a fried egg on a soft gluten-free bun. The ordering process can be inconvenient, requiring customers to order through the website, but the restaurant is family-friendly and has ample parking, including free options on adjacent streets. Despite some inconsistent portion sizes, the quality of the food is generally good. Overall, Thai Fresh is a delightful eatery worth visiting, with a relaxed vibe and plenty of seating, making it a great spot for those looking for more than just another meal in Austin.
