Went to the taco amigos on my trip to Austin. It’s a good truck with two tables to sit on. Weather was good so se decided to eat there. Owner was very nice and accommodative. They serve Halal meat and the whole menu is halal. Enjoyed eating freshly made food. I ordered carne asada, mix meat taco and tostadas and everything was fresh and delicious. We were super hungry and stopped by at lunch time and just wanted to order quickly and got four things. I liked my chicken fajitas! The portions were awesome. We ate it for dinner too. I loved the green sauce, my husband liked the red. As we were sitting, we noticed the breakfast menu, would love to try it one day with our kids. The weather was nice, so we sat outside and ate. So excited to see halal Tex Mex in Austin. Very friendly customer service as well.

Amazing. Door Dash order. I called my dasher to add hot sauce but she didn't didn't speak English. I then called the restaurant and the owner answered quickly...after mentioning I was a Doordash order he immediately acknowledged me by name and asked how he could help. Long story short, food was fresh and great. I don't leave reviews, going out my way because of how good it was. To the owner: I plan on coming in person next time to meet and thank you for the great unique food....read full review
