Delicious, vegetarian options. They don't take cash, however, so we're not buying empanadas from them anymore, which is sad. Not taking cash is economically classist. Thanks

We ordered every empanada on the menu and each of them was absolutely delish. The bread was perfect and the filling was very generous. The service was quick, plenty of seating space, and the sauce complemented each bite deliciously. Yes, the empanadas may be considered pricey but it’s so worth it because it will meet your empanada cravings and you only need 2-3 to get you full.
We purchased empanadas from the Yapa truck at UT. $8 seemed a little pricey, but the empanadas are huge and filling. My spinach and goat cheese was heavy on the spinach, light on the cheese, and so fairly bland, but it was great with the sauces. My complaint is that a 15% tip was automatically charged without my approving it, or ever even seeing a screen showing the amount I would be charged. The service was fine and I might have tipped that much anyway but I object to the practice.
Just got two brisket and one Peruvian chicken empanadas and all three of them were delicious like always. First time trying the chicken empanada and it was delish. Amazing customer service highly recommend! Gracias!
We went to the farmers market and had some empanadas from Yapa. They were delicious! I went back two seconds. My favorite was the Peruvian chicken.
This is my go to place to eat on campus! Not only do they have a variety of delicious empanadas, but their sauces (chimichurri & chipotle) are sooo good! Claudia, the woman who is there almost every time I go, is always so friendly and sweet! Interacting with her brightens my day. I would highly recommend this food truck :)
My spinach and goat cheese empenada was a delicious lunch.
My husband and I have been going to Yapa for 4 years and I’m sad to say things have gone a bit downhill. Over the last few years, prices for their empanadas have gone from $6, to $7, to now $8. I know inflation and costs of everything have gone up, so that’s understandable. But with that, they’ve cut back the menu - no longer offering our favorite La Borracha - likely to streamline. And unfortunately they’ve stopped offering their amazing chimichurri sauce.
With prices going up and options, product going down, it’s hard to justify coming back. Please bring back the chimichurri!
Had the pleasure of having these empanadas at the Austin NYE celebration at Auditorium Shores. Their Al pastor empanadas and their Come & Calla brisket empanada hit the spot! Wonderful dough and just the right amount of filling. 10/10 would eat here again and try ALL of their empanadas!

The pastry is way too thick and bready, not at all like South American empanadas. Filling is bland and uninteresting. Waste of money.
I tried them at the Farmer’s Market in Mueller – absolutely delicious! I had the Peruvian Chicken and Come y Calla Empanadas.

Shell is thick breading. Didn't feel like a emanada.
They’re never open. Went during their open hours on their website at 2PM this Sunday, they were closed no sign or anything. It’s the third time we come and no luck.
