“Drove from Round Rock to meet up with family and get some get BBQ. It was our first visit but don't be our last! We arrived before the rest of our group and had a great conversation with the owner while we waited. He was extremely welcoming and friendly. I had the sausage and brisket with coleslaw and pinto beans...all very delicious. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially for BBQ. It's a simple and humble locale, but clean and hospitable. Definitely a great place to take the family, and was with the drive.“

“We were on our way from San Antonio to Fort Worth and in the mood for BBQ for lunch. Looked up on Google Maps a place for good BBQ on our route. We originally thought we’d stop at Buc-ee’s for a quick sandwich, so glad we decided to try somewhere else.We ordered the two meat plates each. Both of us got the ribs and one got the brisket and the other got the sausage. Side orders were the beans, potato salad and cooked cabbage. All three sides were over the top delicious.The meat was smoked excellent. Love when the meat falls off the bone. The BBQ sauce was phenomenal.Nabota “Bot” Hilliard & Drea we’re the most pleasant folks and helped us with our decisions to satisfy our taste.Highly recommend Hillard BBQ. “I found this place by chance when searching for "BBQ near me" driving home from Ft Worth. Food was decent. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was authentic and excellent. Go on a Thursday and pop in on the auction going on. Just remember to keep your hands at your side.“
