“Slovaceks has decent baked goods. Sausage is good. Beware of brisket (ask for it to be trimmed well of fat). Good selection of highway rest stop commercial items of many types. Good place to stop before hitting the Waco area if you are Southbound on I-35.“

“They are now a food truck and take out only. When step out of your car the aroma of meat and smoke take over your senses. The Texas Twinkie is huge and for is the best thing on the menu. In fact it is the best that I’ve had over the Top 50 Texas monthly. The brisket is tallow free so go with the moist. The bark is well seasoned, flavorful, and you can taste the smoke. The ribs and sausage are decent. Overall if you love the smoke flavor then you’ll love the bbq.“
