“I just had the worst customer service experience of my life in this place today!!!! I use to love this place. Been going there for years! I would often come with friends or family. (It's sad going alone to a bar) Well when I walked in today, around 12pm, looking to just have a beer and play pool with my brother, as we OFTEN do, The bartender loses her mind when I asked for a pitcher and two glasses!!!! She goes off claiming that I was there alone 3 weeks ago, didn't pay for my beer, and tried touching some girl on my way out. Like wtf?????!!!! PROVE IT! She proceeded to tell me that she was the bartender that night, and that "I" was caught on camera. When I asked to see the footage..... ***** BECAUSE (PROVE THAT YOU GOT THE RIGHT PERSON) there is NO WAY that I disrespected this establishment in any way. Or place I go to. I am not one to cause a riot.***** .... the bartender got obviously irritated, claiming that it was PROBABLY already deleted and I just needed to leave! Looking like she wanted to fight me. Apparently the owner of the places out of town..... The only person in charge it's usually just a bartender, I don't think I've ever really seen a manager.... ESTABLISHMENTS GROW BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I haven't stopped by enough times to get to know the morning bartender, but she HAS ALWAYS GIVEN ME A "RUDE" VIBE, face ..... I just spoke to a friend of mine that use to work up there and is usually up there, and she said some curly haired dark skin girl caused chaos up there, that she heard of, ... But My friend KNOWS ME AND THAT I WOULD NEVER AND HAVE NEVER MISBEHAVED LIKE THAT!!!! So the bartender OBVIOUSLY has me confused for someone else, then COULDN'T OR WOULDN'T AND DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO PROVE IT WASN'T ME, and barred me from the bar. Wtf? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! EVER! Bet she'll feel pretty stupid when the person she THOUGHT was me, walks in!!! If she would have a screenshot of "me", or of the footage, we could have cleared this mess up. She could have seen that not all curly hair ethnic people look the same!!!! But no. SSSSOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Forget this place. It's bad enough that the tournaments tend take up all the tables at night, now I'm being accused with NO EVIDENCE???!!!! I'll spend my money elsewhere!!! I never even looked for other options, till now. That place is falling apart, and now the staff is too.... “Except when temperatures are high. Went by this morning, about 10:45. Walked in to people waiting everywhere and told 10 - 15 minutes wait. Ok ..but looked around and counted 8 (EIGHT) empty, clean tables. Thought, ok, waiting for buffet to catch up, but no, only 1 person was in line there. They seated some, so we went to sit on bench area, and began to really sweat. When asked if AC wasn't working was told, "It's just the building, cause it's so hot outside". okay, we left. won't pay those prices, to be hot, no matter how good the food is. We'll go back maybe in the fall, winter, when "the building" is more bearable.“

“We stopped by this little donut shop in springtown they were about to close but we're very accommodating in being able to help us and get us the donuts that we need to get. The atmosphere is clean and very down home feeling. The owner was super nice.
They have a back patio that would be great to sit on and enjoy their donuts with the kids. We will definitely plan on coming back over here next time we are in the area.
Come check them out if you're in springtown, we totally recommend them!“

“This was another attempt at a Cheddars and a much more positive one. The food was very good for the price point. The service was excellent and we would go there again!

“Service was very great. I ordered a burger online and picked it up- however, my burger had an ungodly amount of mustard on it. And I mean, I’ve never ever received a burger with this amount of mustard on it before. So much so that I could not taste anything EXCEPT mustard. I wiped off as much as I could with napkins and the mustard had already soaked into the bun. I honestly thought someone was playing a prank on me. Besides the mass amounts of mustard, I could tell the burger was delicious and they were super friendly when I picked it up.“

“Took our family today for the first time to Tavern on the Lake. Service was prompt, establishment was clean. Server was great with the small kiddos we had with us. Fried pickles were the best. Fried just right and not greasy. Batterred chicken strips were fresh and hot. Sweet tea is absolutely amazing. I’ve read several reviews on this place. I could see with a smaller kitchen how times could take long. Super simple. If it’s packed and you don’t have time to wait, hit up somewhere else. Overall we had an excellent experience and will be back. Support local! Disclaimer- I’m not saying this place never makes mistakes. I also understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion, and everybody gets their own unique experience. I can only speak for our families experience today. Hope this helps :)“

“Great service, staff are nice & the food is always worth coming back too!“

“I ate here Friday night. I had a LONG day at work, and once I got sat I was happy to finally be able to relax. It was just me and three kids including an infant. We got to eating our rolls and talking about our days when one of the hosts comes over and lets me know they sat me at the wrong table and that I needed to move to a nestled corner of the restaurant. I was NOT happy having to pack all our stuff back up and move all my kids by myself to a crowded corner. I was very close to just calling it a night and going home to go to bed. Our waiter came to our new table and asked how our night was going and I told him “not great.” Let me tell you, this man is an angel. I believe his name was Hunter. He was friendly, funny, included my kids in conversation, and had the most infectious and warm laugh I’ve ever heard in my life. Had it not been for him, I probably would have thrown up my hands and cried over how my whole day had gone. He truly turned my day around and was just a great person. He deserves all the good things in life.“

“Came here for lunch on a Saturday and they were not busy at all. My brother and I got the 2 for $25 special and options were limited. The deal comes with an appetizer and an entire, but there are limited choices available.
Our waiter was attentive and other waiters even came to check on us. The service was truly great here. We were given our food and appetizers in a timely manner, drinks were refilled accordingly, and they were very nice.
Overall, my total was $30, which wasn’t too bad. Plus we both had leftovers because neither of us could finish our meal.“
