“We go a few times a month. My 7 year old son is battling cancer and EVERY SINGLE experience is BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! The entire staff talks with him and makes it such a fun time! “Came in for date night with my husband and we were jivin’ for a good burger and cold beer. This place hit both cravings out of the park! Heather was our waitress, who was attentive but not helicopter-esque, and an absolute joy. Our burgers were cooked to a perfect medium, the veggies were fresh, and the sidewinders and potato wedges were plentiful. Be sure to come hungry - you definitely won’t leave that way! Cannot wait to come back here as it’s just down the road from the house!“

We ordered the chicken and waffles, French toast, and the AMAZING mac and cheese—everything was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was phenomenal. Everyone was so personable, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The pinto beans are delicious as well but they need to put cornbread on the menu because beans and cornbread are a southern staple. Also, homemade pie would be a definite crowd pleaser……I would pie a slice of pie every time I go!“

“35th Anniversary dinner gifted to us from our kids. The food is absolutely top tier. Service was amazing from walking in the door to walking out the door. The hostess did not miss beat. Drink were refilled before we could even finish the glass. I would recommend splitting the 20 oz ribeye steak. I would highly recommend this restaurant in downtown Fort Worth to anyone.“

“Never in my life that I would think bar food would be as good as it is here. Hubby had the trash can nachos with chicken and he enjoyed them. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and let me tell you. This wrap is one of the best I have ever had. It was filled with plenty of Caesar salad, chicken and parm and lightly toasted where the outside of the wrap had parm cheese on it too. It was freaking amazing! We went during a Cowboys game and thought it would be too pack. It is a big place with plenty of room to sit inside and outside. Our waitress was very nice and always followed up with us. We will frequent this place not only for the food but the atmosphere as well.“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“Visited on Mother’s Day for lunch and staff was very courteous. They wished happy Mother’s Day to my wife at the time of order and then while serving food. Food was perfectly cooked and had great flavors. We loved all the 3 dishes we ordered. Overall, great experience with very reasonably priced menu.“

“Really enjoyed Philly Dave’s! The cheesesteak all the way with provolone was very good. I did add a little salt and pepper, but I tend to like my food more seasoned, so no big deal.

The wings were the standout perfectly cooked with an absolutely phenomenal buffalo sauce. Not very hot, more of a mild heat, but the flavor was fantastic.

I ordered sweet potato fries and initially got regular fries, but they corrected it immediately, which I really appreciated. It’s a casual order at the counter, grab your own drink kind of place, which I actually love.

“We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. I believe our servers name was Rudy (sorry if that's not right). Anyways he was great explaining the menu, his favorites, and popular dishes. We went with the gargonzola fries and the apricot brie with pita. Loved the fries but wish the cheese was spread out more over the fries. Only half the fries were topped which led to half just being normal waffle fries. Great taste and idea but execution could be a little better. I did not care for the brie but I'm not a fan of that. The rest of the table loved it so I would have to day it was good. Lol. I had the poblano burger for my entree. They cook it well done so I was worried but it was juicy and tasted very good. It was actually better than I expected! It also was served with fries. Washed it all down with the German pilsner which was really good and refreshing as well. Service was top notch and the pace of the meal was perfect. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back to try other dishes.“

“When you walk in it's more like a restaurant than a coffee shop and everyone is super kind and the atmosphere is kind of a nostalgic restaurant type or like an old diner feel and definitely worth the visit I would stay away from the muffins but everything else is pretty good“

“We were visiting from out of town and a local friend recommended this restaurant. My tween daughter and I had dinner here, and it was phenomenal! The food was so good, I went back and got takeout too. Can’t say enough about the delicious, clean food! We had fish tacos, smoked chicken salad and a small Brussels sprouts salad. Picky eater daughter had the kids chicken tacos and raved! Yum!“
