“We had the best experience this weekend at Bonnell’s. Long story short we don’t go out to eat because my son has a lot of food allergies and it’s not easy to accommodate them. However it was his 13th birthday so we really wanted to celebrate. The chef worked with me prior to coming in and made sure my kiddo was able to have a wonderful and safe meal to celebrate a huge milestone. All of the staff were sweet and thoughtful as well. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm. I’m happy to forever brag on this restaurant!“

“I can't say enough great things about our experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in on Friday night, the host greeted us with such warmth and kindness. It really set the tone for the evening.
Our server, Trevor, was exceptional. He was friendly, attentive, and carried a bright, genuine smile throughout the night. He made sure we were comfortable and checked in regularly without being intrusive - the perfect balance. I have celiac, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, making sure my meal was safe and delicious.

“I called in an order because my grandson wanted Mickey D's. I wanted him to try a real hamburger. I've been here before so I knew it was good, no great. “We hosted our rehearsal dinner at City Works Eatery and Pour House. Honestly nothing but great things from the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the staff. Colleen was so helpful throughout the planning process and she even came by on event day! They were flexible with us with possible rain on event day, but it all worked out perfect with the heaters on the patio. It was such a great evening thanks to the amazing team they have at City Works Clearfork! They made us feel like it was a small family dinner with hot meals and endless drinks while serving 100 of our guests. The team was professional, personable, and kind. I couldn't recommend more. “My family took me tonight for Mother’s Day celebration. The food was fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese appetizers were amazing. The chicken fried steak was so good. I see why it was voted best in FW. Margaritas were quite good. The server we had was not good. We were there 16 minutes and had to flag someone down. Then he was one of the worst servers I have had. He finally brought our drinks and took our order but we had to flag someone for refills or anything else we needed. He didn’t check on us until a while after we finished eating. I understand being busy but he didn’t seem to care. I have to say food was worth it though.“

“This was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. The manager greets you with a huge smile on his face and is so welcoming and gracious, like a ray of sunshine. Our waiter (Jordan) was perfect- knowledgeable about the food, friendly and constantly checked on us. Water continuously refilled and the food was so delicious. Drinks were wonderful too! Such an incredibly pleasant experience- HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will be back!“

“Cool new location. Bar area has a great look and vibe as the center attraction when you enter. We sat at the bar and after a creative and yummy appy of elk sausage and creamy jalapeño polenta, we stayed for dinner.

Good news: my husband had the carne asada and a spicy cheese enchilada. He said it was the best dish he’s ever had. Huge portion, it can be split.

Needs Improvement: we sent the appy back because it was not hot. They made it right but it’s an unfortunate first impression of food. Bar tender was very nice and immediately took care of it

They accommodated my request of no potatoes, extra veggies on my petite filet steak dinner but they basically threw extra veggies on the plate. Not a good look

Finally it’s very pricey. We are from California and expect high priced food when we eat out. (Unfortunately) We did not expect it in downtown Fort Worth.“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

Wow on all but those homemade chips were exceptional, even the leftover ones later. Service is amazing as well. Whole place was totally worth the valet parking (super hard to find free parking).

Parking: Parking is hard to find as very limited spaces on the street. Parking garages were not open. Not to say that others couldn't find parking but it is difficult“

“Small bar with good vibes. I left before the live music started up, so I can't speak on the acoustics in such a small place. Drinks were on the expensive side, but it is what it is. This bar has a home town feeling and such a stark contrast between the inside and outside of the building.“

Added fried pickles and cheddar cheese sauce. Next time I’ll only order a half or whole philly cheesesteak sandwich. The philly cheesesteak and cheddar cheese sauce I included in my fat sandwich was bomb! But the fat sandwiches aren’t my thing. It was too much going on for me to enjoy it. I guess the establishment doesn’t accept calls. No one answers the phone! When I arrived, it didn’t take long to prepare my order. The service was decent, and the establishment had a cool vibe.“
