“I just had the worst customer service experience of my life in this place today!!!! I use to love this place. Been going there for years! I would often come with friends or family. (It's sad going alone to a bar) Well when I walked in today, around 12pm, looking to just have a beer and play pool with my brother, as we OFTEN do, The bartender loses her mind when I asked for a pitcher and two glasses!!!! She goes off claiming that I was there alone 3 weeks ago, didn't pay for my beer, and tried touching some girl on my way out. Like wtf?????!!!! PROVE IT! She proceeded to tell me that she was the bartender that night, and that "I" was caught on camera. When I asked to see the footage..... ***** BECAUSE (PROVE THAT YOU GOT THE RIGHT PERSON) there is NO WAY that I disrespected this establishment in any way. Or place I go to. I am not one to cause a riot.***** .... the bartender got obviously irritated, claiming that it was PROBABLY already deleted and I just needed to leave! Looking like she wanted to fight me. Apparently the owner of the places out of town..... The only person in charge it's usually just a bartender, I don't think I've ever really seen a manager.... ESTABLISHMENTS GROW BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I haven't stopped by enough times to get to know the morning bartender, but she HAS ALWAYS GIVEN ME A "RUDE" VIBE, face ..... I just spoke to a friend of mine that use to work up there and is usually up there, and she said some curly haired dark skin girl caused chaos up there, that she heard of, ... But My friend KNOWS ME AND THAT I WOULD NEVER AND HAVE NEVER MISBEHAVED LIKE THAT!!!! So the bartender OBVIOUSLY has me confused for someone else, then COULDN'T OR WOULDN'T AND DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO PROVE IT WASN'T ME, and barred me from the bar. Wtf? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! EVER! Bet she'll feel pretty stupid when the person she THOUGHT was me, walks in!!! If she would have a screenshot of "me", or of the footage, we could have cleared this mess up. She could have seen that not all curly hair ethnic people look the same!!!! But no. SSSSOOOO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Forget this place. It's bad enough that the tournaments tend take up all the tables at night, now I'm being accused with NO EVIDENCE???!!!! I'll spend my money elsewhere!!! I never even looked for other options, till now. That place is falling apart, and now the staff is too.... “I have been wanting to try this place so my husband and I came over on Saturday. We felt like we waited a little long to get our food but it didn’t hurt us to slow the pace down a bit. The food was excellent is all I can say. Food was all homemade as far as I could tell. Homemade into beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and chicken fry that did not seem yo be a frozen patty like most places serve. I soon realized the issue with the wait and now I understand good things are worth the wait. We should have gotten an appetizer to much on! My husband had homemade chili snd cornbread they he said was excellent. He couldn’t finish it all. He had sample of my chicken fry snd mashed potatoes:gravy. He approved of it all and he does love home cooking while realizing I need a break from cooking sometimes! We definitely will be back!“

“Except when temperatures are high. Went by this morning, about 10:45. Walked in to people waiting everywhere and told 10 - 15 minutes wait. Ok ..but looked around and counted 8 (EIGHT) empty, clean tables. Thought, ok, waiting for buffet to catch up, but no, only 1 person was in line there. They seated some, so we went to sit on bench area, and began to really sweat. When asked if AC wasn't working was told, "It's just the building, cause it's so hot outside". okay, we left. won't pay those prices, to be hot, no matter how good the food is. We'll go back maybe in the fall, winter, when "the building" is more bearable.“

“The Point was great for our student rock band concert. Parents got to enjoy seeing their kids perform at a restaraunt, and it was such a nice setting. The Point has good food and a great view!“

“Ate a delicious Cobb salad which was served by Maddi. She made sure we got everything we needed. Maddi is a wonderful server. What makes her unique is that she makes eye contact, smiles and engages in conversation. An absolute delight! Please ask for Maddi to be your server. You won’t regret it!“

“We stopped by this little donut shop in springtown they were about to close but we're very accommodating in being able to help us and get us the donuts that we need to get. The atmosphere is clean and very down home feeling. The owner was super nice.
They have a back patio that would be great to sit on and enjoy their donuts with the kids. We will definitely plan on coming back over here next time we are in the area.

“I ate here Friday night. I had a LONG day at work, and once I got sat I was happy to finally be able to relax. It was just me and three kids including an infant. We got to eating our rolls and talking about our days when one of the hosts comes over and lets me know they sat me at the wrong table and that I needed to move to a nestled corner of the restaurant. I was NOT happy having to pack all our stuff back up and move all my kids by myself to a crowded corner. I was very close to just calling it a night and going home to go to bed. Our waiter came to our new table and asked how our night was going and I told him “not great.” Let me tell you, this man is an angel. I believe his name was Hunter. He was friendly, funny, included my kids in conversation, and had the most infectious and warm laugh I’ve ever heard in my life. Had it not been for him, I probably would have thrown up my hands and cried over how my whole day had gone. He truly turned my day around and was just a great person. He deserves all the good things in life.“

“Who ever cooked our order to be ready at 9:24 PM on March 28th did an outstanding job tonight. My steak and sautéed onions done medium, broccoli and cheese, and green beans were on point. Along with my partners monte Cristo and my mother’s pecan salad. Even the butter biscuits were just delicious. Kudos to the team tonight.“

“After a tough week, Augie's was the perfect feel good destination. It's a family friendly neighborhood bar on the lake where you can drive your boat up to the dock and enjoy a burger and a few drinks and watch the sun set while the kids play corn hole or swing on the swingset.
The food is great. We enjoyed the Augie burger, a half pound burger with jalapeño, pepper jack cheese, onions, mustard, bacon, and tobacco. Also the smashburger with cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. All burgers come with your choice of fries, onion rings, or salad (no one gets the salad). Everything is cooked to order, so on busy nights patrons need patience as it can take awhile to get your order. No one seems to mind though.
One unique offering in drinks is a selection of frozen cocktails, jack and coke, pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, and margaritas. You can also swirl any of the drinks. I truly loved the swirl of daiquiri and colada. The jack and coke was also very tasty.
Another plus with Augie's, live music. The Squeezebox Bandits, a local favorite, entertained us all. They're kind of Texas honky tonk meets Cajun blues with a nod to polka (there is an acordian...). They are reason enough to go to Augie's.“

“The Greek fries are fabulous. Absolutely love the flavor and couldn't stop eating them on the way home lol. The rice has a fantastic flavor with a hint of lemon. The steak kabobs had a citrus flavor and the side Greek salad was full of flavor. Will be going there again.“

“Service was very great. I ordered a burger online and picked it up- however, my burger had an ungodly amount of mustard on it. And I mean, I’ve never ever received a burger with this amount of mustard on it before. So much so that I could not taste anything EXCEPT mustard. I wiped off as much as I could with napkins and the mustard had already soaked into the bun. I honestly thought someone was playing a prank on me. Besides the mass amounts of mustard, I could tell the burger was delicious and they were super friendly when I picked it up.“
