“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“Whitney with Offline - We originally were going to go to 1Watson but I didn’t pay attention to their hours and they were closed. Thankfully Double Standard is right down the block so we decided to try it out. We both got the DS Burger which was very delicious. Definitely a messy burger as mine fell apart in my hands but it was worth it. It was happy hour so we tried out the $1.50 Oysters, they were fresh and tasty! To finish off the meal we shared the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake. It’s a nice light cheesecake with a buttery crust. Throughly enjoyed all the staff, food, and atmosphere!“

“JP is a very nice place, awesome to hang out and listen to the music. My one and only issue I had yesterday on Father's Day as mentioned below. 1. The beer was warm even after having it in a bucket with the 1st pack of ice. We had to buy 3 more pitchers of ice and even that did not help to bring the beer cool or cold. We ended up drinking it with a cup of ice. It was as if the beer was placed in their refrigerator an hour or so before they opened. And served. And yes I understand there's options that we could have done but that's not the point. We like going to JP but they need their bottle to drink a lot COLDER especially for the summer. Another thing to mention and this will help everyone. Their staff inside need to do less talking and pay attention to the service window. Thank JP for all you ❤️“

“Cozy, relaxing vibe where you can also get work done if you need to. Multiple seating options from booths, couches, bar top and outdoor seating. To die for in the Spring! Close enough to downtown but with very reasonable prices. Best of both worlds! Lots of parking, water available for self service, gorgeous cocktails and experienced mixologists. Always an opportunity to try something new. Loved the Cinco de Mayo special addition to the menu!!! This is my #1 spot!“

“The bar owners, especially Heather is extremely unprofessional and makes up stories and lies about patrons. Bar is far too loud to enjoy, very unsavory atmosphere of high school meets a gossip girls. Would NEVER recommend! Used to be forced to go now I'm thankful to have found more authentic, reliable places where the owners don't bother their patrons. Thanks but no thanks 😽 I expect a lovely, hateful response from...how did she put it 🤔, the "friendliest and kindest person"...I'd hate to see a bad day if that's true 🤣“

“I love Thirsty Horse so much. I’ve been going to this bar for over 9 years. It’s hard to compete with the place and the experience you have when there. They have a live band every night they are open, a huge back patio and tons of space to hangout with friends. They have a kitchen inside the bar that serves awesome food, I personally love the sliders! The bartenders are so fast and friendly and always get my drink order so quickly It’s great that I never have to wait in a long time for a drink.when the band takes a break, the Dj’s are awesome at picking good music, I love it when a good line dance comes on. To sum it up Everything about this place is top notch, go check it out!“

“I have only been to this venue twice--once for some country dancing with friends, and once when they hosted the Algo Nuevo Wednesdays event. The venue is pretty cozy with a very small dance floor. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The bar staff was amazing! We ordered a variety of drinks. The bartender gave us several sodas that were not the best. We were fine with them and said nothing. Within minutes of sitting at a table, the bartender swapped out our drinks. To me, that action not only showed great character but also a level of care and attentiveness that can be difficult to find these days.“

“The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum is definitely a place to visit while you’re in San Antonio!! The amount of animals and artifacts on display are absolutely amazing. I’ll have to try their restaurant the next time I’m there, but overall with it being my first time visiting the Buckhorn I give it a 10/10! 😁“
