“My father in law had dinner there tonight, used to be my mother in law and his fav place to eat. She passed a few weeks ago. Manager came up to him and offered his condolences and paid for his meal. So classy and thoughtful. They really made it a special night for him ❤️“
“Gave it a four only because of Monica the bartender she’s amazing. Doorman Gonzo however is a power tripping joke. A group of us came in 8 to be exact 7 females one male, we came in from the monthly truck meet. All but 3 females were mid to late 40’s including myself (49) the male my boyfriend is 51 we walk in go to the bar and Gonzo shows up out of no where (wasn’t at the door) and starts telling me I need your ID, the younger ones had theirs mine was in my truck, I told him my date of birth clearly I’m way over 21 but then he starts power tripping, Monica told him no it’s fine they’re of age and he proceeds to repeat over and over obnoxiously “I need to see ID” what a joke normally I’d be flattered however he was just being a j**** we go in there frequently during our truck meets and I’ve never experienced a doorman abusing his pseudo authority they way he did, I’ll make sure when going there next month we send a scout in to make sure that j*** isn’t “manning” the place. I will say that I’ve always had really great experiences with all other bartenders and doormen there.“
“Worst traveling experience ever! Being stuck in San Antonio airport for a day and I was at my wits end until I came across this restaurant. The lady at the front desk, Laronza greeted us with welcome to beer code!. She had to have read my facial expressions becase as we walked up she was smiling and very cheerful to be working in a airport. There were only a few people ahead of us and she was like a captain or somewhat on a ship. Laronza asked our name and how many and wrote it down. She let us know that she would get us all sat down in a few minutes and went to cleaning tables very quickly. We sat up front near the bar area, the food was great, a bit too warm but this place was very inviting and the food was amazing!“

“They don't serve food but there a fried chicken truck which I think is overly priced. Atmosphere is great and so are the drinks. Nice to hang outside with a fire pit and listen to the bands. There's a pizzeria next door which smells like my Jersey pizza. I'm pretty sure you can bring that in to eat“

“In town from Portland, Oregon and I have to give this place two thumbs waaaay up. I love the atmosphere here ranging from a casual get together with the work crew all the way to a serious date spot. I had a rye Old Fashioned that was delicious. The owners are welcoming and jovial.“

“Stumbled upon a VIBE! We were not able to get an Uber back from the Alamodome to Saint Anthony Hotel, so walked a few blocks to this cute house, good cocktails, and the best part the DJ playing on the night of 4th of July was chefs kiss. Id come back here the next time im in SA.“

“The Bartender Patti is not only gorgeous and friendly shz hands down one of the greats here in SaTown🥰 she brings in the greatest local entertainment she makes the Best drinks and shots Hands Down🔥 They have pool, darts vegas games, sports and eats I think and a small outdoor patio area. But the dance area is muey small and the usual weekday crowd really not my vibe but picks up with rockin local bands on weekends so I DO recommend for weekends!😎🤘🍻🍷🍸🥂“

“I used to work here and it was by far the BEST job I’ve ever had . They treated every employee like family and every customer who came thru the door with kindness . Lis and Jayme are super knowledgeable when it comes to wine and only bringing the best stuff in . Amber the manager is also AMAZING and always coming up with great ideas for the place . 10/10 recommend stopping in to experience it sometime and enjoy all they have to offer !“

“Nothing! The bar owners, especially Heather is extremely unprofessional and makes up stories and lies about patrons. Bar is far too loud to enjoy, very unsavory atmosphere of high school meets a gossip girls. Would NEVER recommend! Used to be forced to go now I'm thankful to have found more authentic, reliable places where the owners don't bother their patrons. Thanks but no thanks 😽 I expect a lovely, hateful response from...how did she put it 🤔, the "friendliest and kindest person"...I'd hate to see a bad day if that's true 🤣“

ORIGINAL REVIEW :Bartenders are great the service is the only reason I’m giving any stars the service was great but it’s a karaoke bar on Saturday so we come for karaoke but the DJ does t have a very big mic of songs came twice and doesn’t have the stuff we want to sing , if rock is your vibe only they’ll have your song for sure KJ’s group of friends came in and kinda hogged the queue KJ is kinda rude and came after us in facebook comments will likely never be back our first time bartender told us this is their normal KJ for karaoke and suggested we come back in 2 weeks we return and it’s the same guy so I ask on Facebook for suggestions and he ( the guy running karaoke at baseline) immediately comments how he has all the fun songs weird to be in my comments while you’re supposed to be working“

The bartender Sam makes sure you are taken care of. This isn’t a cocktail bar, but if you want a cold beer and a shot of whiskey, this is the place for you. It’s a place where nobody knows your name, nobody cares who you are or where you’re from, but everyone would give you the short off your back to help you. Sam is a driving force behind this.“

“Went to see a World Cup game, they put the game on their big screen, made sure we could hear the game. The food was great and the beer selection was amazing. The server came by to check on us often but not too often. Just great service all around. We already have plans to go back.“

“Cela, Asal, Heidi, is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. They’re fast, personable, and somehow keeps up with a packed bar without ever making you feel rushed. Every drink was made perfectly, and they’re positive energy made the whole experience even better. They remember orders, checks in on guests, and makes everyone feel like a regular. If you’re lucky enough to have Marcela behind the bar, you’re in for great drinks and even better service. She absolutely deserves the recognition!“
“pitcher Miller lite and double shot of jack is my drink, jukebox blisters out Slayer, lamb Of god while the pool leagues rack away. Good place to throw darts and watch some Spurs, Nascar or Football. The bartenders are attentive and they even have a outside smoking area. Good place to meet new people and you can bring your pet.“

“These daiquiris are dangerous! Went out for ice cream and found this place on a whim! Got a liquid marijuana and boy she was rude asf! One moment you’re sitting there enjoying the great flavor and then you stand up to go grab a water and you can’t feel your legs! I can’t stress enough how great everything is!“
