“Always in awe of how Wild Barley has overcome what could be a major intersection nightmare location and made it their own oasis of family friendly environment with insanely patient, professional staff. All in addition to their award winning food and beer that is uncompromising in its quality (not to mention value) when every restaurant on earth has countless excuses to cut corners. Our latest visit was on a Friday afternoon, surrounded by a good contingent of extremely genial regulars plus lil’ regulars and I hope to count ourselves as ones soon.“

“Food was excellent (I’m a pizza lover!) My daughter got the kids pasta with meatball- made fresh in house daily, was large and we have a lot of leftovers to take home!Service was great (Jordan was so sweet!) Manager came by to chat with us- seems like they genuinely want to make sure customers are happy. We are getting one in our area in May (building in process), and honestly cannot wait after trying it out here today!*And their white ketchup is delicious! This will definitely be a regular spot for our fam!“

“good but a little mixed I had the Parma that has garlic sauce versus red sauce. I was expecting the prosciutto to be cooked on the pizza. Basically it was like a bread salad with sliced prosciutto. We didn’t like it. But luckily my nephew had the Copa and added pepperoni and it was very delicious.“

“The staff was friendly and quick. The drinks were great the peach campfire margarita is a must try if that's your thing. The wings were pizzeria wings, but really good pizzeria wings. The pizzas were great! The meat lovers was great and the gluten free house was over loaded with toppings. They have made good progress for cross contamination because I never felt bad afterwards. 10/10Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“

“This pizza is different from your average commercial pizza place that cooks in a 475 oven. It uses what I can gather, a more bready dough that smells wonderful, is soft, and the edges crisp up nicely. Not greasy. Not a thin pizza either, has some delightful soft chew for their normal dough. By far one of the greatest price points as well for $7.99. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, and promptly taken care of. Offered cheese and peppers as well since most places charge, they do not. If that changes in the future I wouldn't hold that against them. Overall a top 5 pizza staple that I hope does very well. If they stay consistent, they'll have a customer for life.Short version:Pizza is like Little Ceasars STYLE. MUCH better quality, That's where the comparison stops. Except if it was twice as good. Will try any variation of a thin crust next time for a second review.“

“As soon as I walked in Gennaro hooked me up!!!I told him I was a vegetarian, and he specifically made Penne a Rustica for me with no meat and it was amazing. The penne was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was very rich and creamy. You can tell it was made with love. He also recommended a Mexican cola with my meal. The customer service is outstanding. The atmosphere in the dining room was priceless and felt like I was in a movie. You can tell he really enjoys his job as I seen him tend to other customers with such charisma. Y’all please try this place. Oh and Po Po Trattoria, please give Gennaro a raise!!!!!!!“

“Honestly Great Food , Great Price, and Awesome Service. I had the Gyro and Greek Salad Combo . The owner was there and was friendly as well as the woman who took my order. This was a quiet and peaceful spot to enjoy lunch or dinner. Thank you to my friend who recommended it. They also are known for their Chicago Dogs so I've been told. I definitely recommend ? ?“

“I've been a few times now and have never had a bad experience. The parking lot's a little small, so that can be difficult on a busy night, but that's probably my only complaint and even then I'll always recommend stopping here on a night out. The drinks are great, vibes immaculate, and the staff is amazing! I typically get the Molly Ringwald, but have tried many of their cocktails and they're all so good. You can't really go wrong. I also love that they have non-alcoholic options as well, so no one feels left out. On my most recent visit, we got a round of shots and I asked the bartender if she could make one non-alcoholic. No hesitation, absolutely, and our DD was so excited and appreciative to be included for once. It's definitely become one of our go-to spots.“

“All I can say is WOW! My bf and I were craving pizza at 1:53 AM on a Tuesday and called here. The owner was extremely kind and friendly. He even stayed open later than his normal hours to get us pizza. And the pizza was AMAZING! Delicious NY style and it was bigger than most large pizzas. Awesome service, awesome pizza! 10/10“

“We arrived shortly after they opened and were seated immediately. We ordered the Detroit Style Carnivore and Bar Style Funkadelic Chicken. Both pizzas were great. The edges of the Detroit Style were very crispy, and the crust was amazing. The chicken on the Funkadelic Chicken was super tender. The waiter was very friendly. Also, $3.13 for a beer isn't bad!“

“I drove 47 miles to try this place after seeing it on Facebook. These pictures do NOT do it justice. We were greeted the moment we walked in and were able to pick table. The atmosphere was welcoming and there is a full bar. I bet Friday nights here are something else. The hot wings are PERFECT. We ordered the spicy lemon pepper. They were juicy, cooked to perfection and the flavor is hard to beat. If you are a wing fan, do yourself a favor and grab a beer and a dozen. The waitress recommended the Maxed Out pizza, which was all meat and we added jalapeños. Now look here, this pizza ain’t no big bread tons of tomato sauce pizza . Toppings are definitely king here. They all come together creating this semi Smokey medley of flavor resting on a perfectly cooked bed of pizza dough. At first I was taking the usual bite but do yourself a favor and fold it in half and take it to the head. Like it cheesy? Go ahead and order that flat bread then prepare yourself for that marinara sauce..you’ll thank me later. The place is clean, restrooms are clean, service is great and the atmosphere is easy going. Five stars across the board. I will be back and I am definitely letting everyone know.“

“We found this place by accident. Growing up in a Italian community in Ca, you know what's real and what's not. We thought we had died and went to heaven!! It may be far from our home, but I can guarantee you, we will be eating there alot! Delicioso!! The deserts are made by the owner's mom. Try the Tiramisu, your taste buds will faint, if they haven't already from the awesome garlic rolls or lasagne or pizza or calzones!! Very inexpensive for the amount of food you get too!! Go!!Vegetarian options: We ordered a large veggie pizza! The absolute best! So many veggies! Add garlic rolls!! To die for!“

“During a long bike along the San Antonio River Trail, stop over at Pizzeria Vesuvio and checked out their menu. I saw that they had a pesto chicken pizza, so I ordered a slice. I must say that it was Superb. The best chicken pesto pizza that I've had. Thin crust with a robust pesto taste in every bite.Having an opportunity to meet the owner as he was the gentleman that greeted me. He advised that he created his own recipes for all of the dishes that they offer and all made from scratch daily. This place is very welcoming woth a great atmosphere. If I had of known how good the chicken pesto pizza was I would have order a whole one. The next time I'm in the area, this I will do.“

“The pizza was wonderful. I loved the flavor of the sauce, however because it was so good I wish there had been more of it. The pizza is SO cheesy it was decadent. The pepperoni was perfect not too greasy and very flavorful. The dough was good hubby would've preferred it a little thinner but that's a personal preference, I liked it the way it was. The only drawback was that you can't enjoy it there when it's nice and hot, and the restaurant is crowded and kind of sad. It made me want to help them fix it up and make it presentable.“

“We went for beer , Then we got the pizza - wow. We had the pear / arugula / onion / cheesy white pizza. Fresh dough, chewy and hot. “I came here with my family for a birthday lunch. We were a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us. They don’t take reservations however they did tell us to call ahead so they could prepare a table for us. We got there and the table was ready. Our service experience was a little slow but let me explain why:1. Jay was the only waitress for the entire restaurant2. There were at least six other tables she was serving with at least three/four people3. Jay was also the only cashier4. Jay was also the only food runner5. Jay was also one of the bussersSo we totally understood. Even though Jay was the only one running the entire front of the house by herself, she stayed calm, nice and the most attentive as she could. She did not look overwhelmed or come off as flustered and she took care of me and my family. Give her a raise!! She did the best she could and I strongly believe if she had help her service would’ve been five stars. We made sure to give her a piece of birthday dessert and a good tip to make sure her effort was noticed. Thank you Jay!As far as the food; the food came out very fast, but it was a 6/10. Nothing fancy, but I may be back again to give it another shot.Again please give Jay a raise. She really deserves it!“

“Most of the time I enjoy their pizza but when we ordered an XL pepperoni pizza on Easter Sunday it needed more sauce. Dry pizza doesn’t have a lot of flavor. They were busy so maybe that was a possible reason.Shame because we left a $4 tip at counter.“

“We ordered take out and the pizza was on point. The meat toppings tasted uniquely fresh and likely not grocery store brand. But the standout was the dough. Perfect amount of chew, sweet and savory. It’s a tough balancing act, but this pizza hit on all levels?“

“Great find and a much needed break from the usual. There is a ton of parking. Atmosphere is modern but smart. There is about an equal divide between indoor and outdoor seating, along with a handful of bar seats. Wine menu has several wines rated 90+ points by Wine Spectator. The wine and cocktail menus is focused but more than adequate. Wifey and I are usually winos, but we opted for their speciality cocktails--delicious. Apps were fantastic: burrata, bread, and calamari. She had a seafood pasta dish and I ravioli with short rib meat. Service is excellent. The only negative is the noise level: it's just too damned loud. This can easily improve with sound absorption so that patrons can speak easily.“

“We tried Trilogy Pizza for the first time tonight with a couple friends. This was also the first Chicago Deep Dish pizza we've ever had. We tried a large four meat pizza and the garlic knots. So delicious!! We loved all of it. The place was relatively quiet, even on a Saturday night. They had maybe 8-10 specialty pizzas, build your own, kids options, and a fountain to serve yourself. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Plenty of speciality pizzas with no meat and build your own options.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with 6" personal pizzas, cheese or pepperoni only. “Great place for Pizza and Stella beverages. We came late Saturday night, right before closing and the team there was already wrapping the place down. They were so kind and allowed us to order to go, and we had a beverage at the bar while waiting. I tried the raspberry Stella, but was too bitter for me. I was given a sample of a lighter option, it was delicious. #7. Pizza was overwhelmingly delicious, we wished we could have ordered one to go. They use fresh ingredients. The dough was soft and had a perfect toasty taste to it. The Pizza was an explosion of flavor honestly. We appreciate the waiter who welcomed us, and the lady bar tender who was so kind. We look forward to visiting again soon. ?“

“First-time customer and I like the bundles they have for the buffet. There, pizza is good they have lots of food different categories, for example, Mexican food, Italian, Thanksgiving dinner, etc. A variety of toppings for salads and desert don't forget about that, and the rides are great to ride laser tag, bumper cars, go karts, and other rides plus games that Dave and buster's has.I rather come here to have a great time if you love thrills inside instead of outside. This is the place great place for family that have kids.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free crustParking: They have a security guard driving around the parking lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they have a toddler town that has rides built just for them to have fun.“

“We came here for the first time on a random Saturday night, it is kind of small but super cozy. Enough room for about 15 tables or so. They do have reservations quite a lot, assuming it is Valentine's Day weekend - so I would reserve a table for the weekends anyways. It was great service by the staff, dim enough but not too dark, and not loud at all. They do have outdoor seating available as well and I thought it was super cute. We ordered chicken Parmesan and a primavera pasta. Complimentary bread rolls were SO FRESH I regret not taking a picture and the pictures taken of the food don't even compare to the taste. It is so authentic and not your regular Olive Garden, it was so flavorful and I'm a picky Italian food eater! The pastas were devoured and so perfect, along with the tiramisu! Props to the chefs and waiters, 10/10! I will be coming again!!“

“They make the best pizza in San Antonio, everyone I brought this pizza to also was blown away. I can't wait to try the potranco location since I no longer live next to the bitters location.I'm sad my 3 minute drive to the bitters location is now 45 or 25 to the potranco location. “My inaugural visit to Bubba's 33 surpassed all expectations. Desirae, our server, provided top-notch service, expertly guiding us through the array of food and drink options. We kicked off our meal with the tantalizing "Combo appetizer", followed by my choice of the bacon and guacamole burger and my sister's selection of the turkey bacon sandwich. Every dish was cooked to perfection; the burger was a taste sensation and the turkey sandwich was both appetizing and scrumptious.“

“These are the best pizzas in San Antonio. The flavor and freshness is exactly like Italy. It's exceptional food. Where Dough falls slightly short is their staff are hit and miss. Sometimes superb. Sometimes snobby. By the latter I mean they have a superior attitude which is off putting. Given we're all equal no staff should act superior or condescending. When the staff are good this is a great experience. I've taken friends from out of town multiple times. It's a higher end pizza joint with some terrific options. Staffing is such a challenge these days but it's paramount to the reputation of a business. Whilst Fought tends to serve a more affluent clientele they ought to train staff not to act superior because they're just wait staff and having an attitude is off putting. They said; the food is terrific and if you get lucky the staff can be friendly. It's not my favorite restaurant in SA but it definitely has the best pizza. You'll pay more for it and because it's so fresh it won't keep. But you'll get a great meal and it's ideal for a special occasion also. They have vegetarian options and a good wine list. The truffle salad is sensational. I've never eaten a better pizza in SA.“

“We stopped at this little “dive” bar to end our night while in San Antonio to attend our son’s graduation from Airforce BMT. We just planned on a beer and something little to pick on so we ordered a HALF order or a mess fries with jerk chicken … let me tell you, I’d be nervous to see a full order! There was more than enough to share between my husband and myself! And sooooo yummy!!! The bartender was sweet and quick with service. The sitting area out front was so cute with big tree limbs hanging over all lit up and plenty of outdoor seating. Looks like it would be a fun little place to see live music.“
