It was an okay experience. It was a little pricey for the buffet selection. A lot of seafood and crawfish. Shrimp were overcooked and a bit mushie. Service was okay. We weren't thrilled about the atmosphere. Probably won't go back.
What can I say about this place…. I’ve been going here every so often since I’ve moved to bastrop in 2010 and I can say that a lot has declined with this place. From the food quality to the customer service occasionally, and let’s not forget about the dated furniture… which I can deal with but dusty/grimey partitions and seats is the main reason why I typically get my orders to go if I even go there these days. It's hit or miss, with this place, sometimes it's good other times it's cold or lacking flavor. But stay away from the beef it's a bit weird tasting after multiple trips. The crab Rangoon needs some work. The cream cheese they use is horrible even on the sushi, but I can't expect much from a buffet line...lol It's sad to say but the china buffet in rockdale is way better even though it's smaller.
