Restaurantji unveils Beckville's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“I have always loved Nene's. I love everything I have eaten there, but my favorites are the torta and the beef guiso plate. The staff is really friendly and their pricing is very reasonable. Best Mexican food in Carthage, period. Do yourself a favor, and call ahead just in case they are busy!“
“The food here is to die for, not to mention freshly made to order! The owners are so nice and hospitable it is refreshing in todays world. I have started to eat here regularly for breakfast, of which I have had their plates and burritos, both are amazing. Can’t say enough about how you should make this your go to for authentic Mexican food.“
“I got the double beans steak & chicken quesadilla plate. Barbacoa taco, steak taco, chicken taco and a egg n cheese chorizo taco with a Mexican coke! Damn damn good!! A must try! Got mine to go, ate half now and will consume the other portion later! So good ?????“
“Really good tacos! One thing that impressed me was that they really stuff the taco. Some places the tacos are tiny. Not here. Full of ingredients and flavor. I had carnitas, chorizo, and barbacoa. All were excellent. Service was fast and it was pretty affordable.“
“Very nice place. It was busy with the after church crowd but there was very little wait time for the food to come out of the kitchen. Everything was delicious and hot. I love cheese enchiladas and don't get them very often living in Arkansas. So I was very happy to see theirs was excellent. Too bad that this place is 3.5 hours from my home.“
“I love when Mexican restaurants serve their hot sauce warm it was delicious ? enchiladas were good my husband had the variety and I had beef. Wasn't a fan of the beans but I am not a bean person. Ordered queso it was ok little thick for my liking. 4 out of 5 for the food. I will be back to try the chicken covered with shrimp rice and grilled veggies ...til then ?“
“We're passing thru Carthage traveling from west Texas to central Florida. We stopped in for dinner at the recommendation of the front desk at our hotel. What a pleasant surprise! The exterior is charming and the interior matches. We were seated quickly and our waitress, Amanda, was at our table in a flash. She made great recommendations. We started with chips and salsa. Homemade and excellent. We had an entree called the Pablo, 2 chicken enchiladas topped with white chicken chili and a siden of rice and beans; and a Jalapeno Tree salad, which was a crispy bowl filled with lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and fajita chicken with a side of guacamole and sour cream. We washed it down with a Dos Equis. What a terrific dining experience and Amanda was extremely attentive. Bravo Jalapeno Tree! Happy New Year!“
“Hands down some of the best tacos in the area. Super friendly staff and the owners do an amazing job! They don't skimp on the fillings and their salsas are great and they even have one that has a really good kick if you love spicy salsa! They even make fresh homemade chips for you right when you order for dine in. They also offer Tripas tacos, which are hard to find and they know how to make them well!“
