“Doctor appointments in Houston mean trying new places! We've been looking forward to trying Pok Pok Po for a few weeks since we saw Shawn the Food Sheep's video review. It did not disappoint! This is the best chicken ever! Look at the seasoning on those fries! My chicken sandwich had an amazing sauce and kimchi on it. Caleb had the chicken nugget basmati rice bowl with kimchi. The side sauces are to die for, and perfectly complemented all we had. PLOT TWIST-- there are two concepts kitchens in one store front!! Pok pok Po shares a space and is the same company/chef as Bōl--a Chipoltle-style Indian food concept. We were able to try a wide sample of their fares including the rice, lamb, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, pickled onions, avocados, and cucumber salad, airy potatoes crisps, mango Lassi, and samosa. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Staff, manager, and chef take pride in their establishment and value the experience of the customer. Everything there is gluten free (except the burger bun--but make it a wrap or a salad!) And halal, and the chicken is anibiotic free. Everything was spotless, bathrooms were nice and big.Free parking!“

“Went multiple times and the hostest are always so sweet, especially the lady with black hair and tatoos and was very happy with my experiences. Ive been with friends and its a great environment thats loud and fun, they had an amazing list of rubs for the wings and I always love me a good garlic parmesan! The Bayou Wings with the Cajun fries are a hit — full of flavor and cooked fresh. You have to try the mango green tea, and don’t forget to order the beignet fries… crispy in every bite and absolutely delicious. Great service and great food — I’ll definitely be back! “Best wings around! Every time we come visit granny from Oklahoma we come here for the wings and mac n cheese. This time they didn’t have MnC and the restaurant side was closed but we were able to order from the lounge side and what I assume was the owner whipped up some pasta and cheese sauce so we could satisfy the boys. The only criticism I have is that the restaurant side should be open. Lemon pepper, bbq, and sweet spicy are amazing. They take a good minute but worth it.“

“Besides the annoying people that stand around the store this place is decent. I’ve only door dashed from there but today was my first time actually placing an order in the store. It was clean, quick service, and the staff member was kind and respectful. I’ve had the Philly cheesesteak twice and IT HIT BOTH TIMES! 10/10, shrimp over rice 8/10, lamb over rice 6/10 (i wasn’t a fan of the lamb that’s all). KEEP IT UP“

Most boba places offer a small snack menu but not this place. they have a large menu to choose from and it's delicious!!!! Even their chicken nuggets were so crispy. “I can’t believe this happened to us tonight at OUR favorite place…. Prior to celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday, I checked your app specifically to join a waitlist, as this is her favorite restaurant. The app clearly showed no waitlist available. To confirm, I also called the Alamo Ranch location and was explicitly told there was no wait. Upon arrival, however, we were informed the wait time was over an hour, directly contradicting both the app and the information provided by staff. We then drove to the Landmark location, again under the impression that there was no wait. After arriving to check in a party of eight, we were told there would be another hour-long wait. This resulted in more than an hour and a half wasted driving between locations, based entirely on inaccurate and misleading information. This experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and I have never encountered this level of incompetence, especially during what was meant to be a meaningful celebration for my daughter. Instead, the evening was ruined due to misinformation and poor communication at both locations. If your app cannot accurately reflect wait times or waitlist availability, it should not be relied upon at all. Either restore the ability to book through Yelp or immediately fix the functionality of your application. The current system is misleading customers and wasting their time. This experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I will be sharing this incident publicly to reflect the unprofessionalism and poor customer service we received unless corrective action is taken. At a minimum, this issue deserves acknowledgment and a clear explanation of how it will be addressed moving forward.“

“My husband and I REALLY love their calzones! They are stuffed with great meats and sauce, and the dough is the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s never half-baked, and it’s piping hot. The salads have fresh crispy lettuce, red onions, carrots, tomatoes, and black olives, served with ranch or balsamic vinegrette. It’s a great place to relax after a medical appointment, the owners are friendly, and the food is prepared quickly. We’ll keep coming often.“
