“The poor young man acted like a character from the movie clueless or was really new to the position and was not paying attention to anything they told him about where to take anything and tried to give me someone else's order 5 times ! When I finally received my order it was hot and prepared perfectly I had been craving a chicken fried steak sandwich and was actually able to enjoy it despite my dental issues!!”

“Cute restaurant in downtown Denison. We came to this area yesterday for their antique shops, but happened to stumble on a el Dia de Los Muertos parade. We missed most of it, but I would love to go back next year.

“I got a 2 meat plate with 2 sides- the price was right and the portions were generous. I enjoyed the brisket and the jalapeño sausage but was a little disappointed with the sides. The pinto beans were ok but the baked potato casserole was all dried out and lacking in flavor. My wife got the baked potato and said she really enjoyed it. I would visit again if I were in the area.”

I honestly laugh at the negative reviews, bc our experience was quite the opposite (yes, there was a wait bc there were many customers ahead of us, but our order came out before she said it would be). We had the chicken and beef fajita tacos and WOW! DELICIOUS! The spicy avocado sauce was phenomenal and everything was tasty and fresh. No rude or snarky attitude as some mentioned. “Ate there this afternoon on a recommendation from a guy who sold me a car. Everything he said about it is true. I ordered a shredded beef crunchy taco, and chili rellano with rice and beans, with a side of guacamole. Plus ate my fair share of chips and salsa. And had sweet tea. Everything was delicious. The salsa, red sauce and guacamole were unique in flavor and freshness. I wish it weren't so far from home. Favorites were guacamole and salsa for a tie. Competitive prices. Plus excellent service, and they have free mints and toothpicks. Definitely recommend and can hardly wait to go again!!”

“It's a really chill place. I like going here. It's not to much, it's just right. I do wish there was a bit more space but I love the vibe of the place. It's exactly what abbar should be. A friend had me go although I had seen the place for years, and now I go every week. Nothing is over priced, it's an affordable home town bar. A few more pool tables and a bit more space, especially for the people that dance would make the place booming. Love it here.”

“If you need a watering hole, that’s not rundown. It’s not too fancy middle of the road blue collar. This is the place. The man does it get crazy later. It gets lots of dancing bands on the weekend. People seem to be friendly enough. Just gotta pay attention what’s going on around you And the pool is free every night. How about that?
