“Owners are excellent hosted runners for an ultramarathon at the start line. They also provided very excellent fermented electrolyte which was refreshing.
I will be stopping by this place when I drive that way again. May have to start drinking again“

“Absolute gem of a place that is frozen in time. We stopped in on a road trip to Houston and had a couple of beers. Not many places like this exist anymore. Resemblance of an old house/bar/tavern that still serves beer with a smile. The owners still work the bar and cook. They have beer signs and such from the 60’s and 70’s. We are here on a cold day and the heater in the middle of the bar looks like it’s from the 70’s and still cranking out heat. If you’re passing through stop in for a beer and help keep places like this going.“
