Nice iconic Texan Hotel, really good home made brunch, only con is the eating area doesn't have a good AC it was some ceiling fans but was not enough for the room in the hot day we were visiting.
My wife and I recently stopped by Hotel Blessing for lunch. The hotel serves a daily lunch buffet with homecooked meals even better than grandma's. The selection of main dishes are rotated daily; on the day we visited, they were serving meat loaf, southern beef hash, and chicken fried steak. My favorite was the meat loaf. On a recent trip down to the coast we made a plan to stop in Blessing to eat at this historic place and it did not disappoint. We were greeted as we walked in and were told to "Grab a plate and help yourself." Lunch was a large buffet with enchiladas, tamales, fried fish and all sorts of homemade sides. It would be very difficult to find food this good for only $14 a person. It is cash only so be prepared when you come.
