“Oh my. I've heard about this place for a long time and last night we dined there with some friends. Waitress was so pleasant and upbeat. I had chicken fried steak and it was so crispy and tasty as was the green beans and mashed potatoes. I ate one of the best salads I have ever had also. We are definitely going back even though it an hour drive for us. If you get a chance dine here.“

We were greeted as we walked in and were told to "Grab a plate and help yourself." Lunch was a large buffet with enchiladas, tamales, fried fish and all sorts of homemade sides. It would be very difficult to find food this good for only $14 a person. It is cash only so be prepared when you come.“

Best cabbage I've ever had, great fried chicken, and amazing preach cobbler.We took a 40 minute detour just to eat there. It was a rainy Sunday for the lunch buffet and it was still packed with people. Ms. Helen is at the cashier greeting and remember to bring cash!“
