“We went to Mary's Cafe for the first time today for lunch. Mary was so sweet and helpful throughout our entire menu, she was happy to have us there! We were happy to be there also especially after serving ourselves a fresh cup of coffee and digging in to our fajita plate. The portions were generous, the tortillas are big and fresh, everything was delicious. My parents are from Mexico and they know how to cook- eating here at Mary's reminded me of a home cooked meal- because that's what it is! My husband and I both enjoyed our food and we'll be back later this week to have breakfast! Give it a try, these mom and pop hole in the wall places are the absolute best!“
“Boating with friends yesterday and stopped for some dinner. They were closing in 30 mins yet still gave us a warm welcome and fed our party of six. The food was very good. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. We are from Houston and will be taking some motorcycle rides back to this place more often.“
“Dido’s is a great place for a family reunion! Our family had a wonderful experience Memorial weekend. It is a perfect set up. We had a blowup waterslide, a large open area for relays and games, trees to sit under for visiting, great lunch buffet, and awesome seafood dinner. Some family members took j advantage of the house which is available on the premises. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend utilizing Dido’s for any event!!“
“Really good food, clean place to eat. I always get my hamburger steak plate or Mexican food cooked perfectly.Vegetarian options: Just mention you're vegetarian, they'll give you optionsParking: There's plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Good calm atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessible seating area and restrooms“
“We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. We came here after leaving another place that had a gnat problem. We started with a spinach artichoke dip that was tasty, although a bit dry. It was served with a fresh and delicious salsa. For our main course, we had grilled fish tacos and fish and chips. Both dishes were satisfying and well-prepared. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only thing that could be improved was the menu variety, as we would have liked to see more options. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.“
“Just an amazing cajun experience from the music to the food to the decor! The Swamp Shack has it going on! If you crave some southern Louisiana this is the place without the drive. We ordered the charbroiled oysters for an app and there were very good! They could have been cooked a little longer for my personal taste, but they were good. The burger was outstanding. The fried catfish and shrimp were perfect. Our mixed drinks were excellent, we got the Poloma and Sex With an Alligator, needless to say there was no pain felt when we were leaving. The service was amazing and friendly. Just a great place to stop, eat, enjoy some drinks and hang out at the bar.Dietary restrictions: If you are eating here, your dietary restrictions may not matter, but there is a lot on the menu and these nice folks can help out if there is something you don't want or need to have on your plateParking: plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: very kid friendly and tame even for serving drinksWheelchair accessibility: easy single story access“
“I really enjoy the ramen here. The service is also normally really good. However, this past time, a friend and I met for dinner, and I understand our bill was paid, but we got water's, and they were empty. We stayed and chit-chatted for about 45 minutes after paying, and it was a slow night, so plenty of other tables were available. I definitely felt it would have been really awesome if we got a refill on out waters, especially since my friend kept coughing and could have really used a drink.“
“What a wonderful atmosphere and experience! I'm not exaggerating when I say the food was excellent. It was made with care, not overly salty, not overly seasoned and not undercooked. Just tasty! The service I couldn't have asked for better or more polite and happy employees. And, the atmosphere -- loved dining outside. Something that surprised me: the outside was just as clean as inside. Prices are reasonable, especially for the portions. I wasn't able to finish my entire meal but my grandson didn't have any problem polishing it off. Very happy customers! We will be back to try the other yummy looking dishes.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food on there for kids to choose from, lovely atmosphere, no alcohol.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and no curb to navigate. The doors are wide enough to facilitate a wheelchair. the tables have single chairs to roll a wheelchair up to a table.“
“First visit and it was amazing! We sat on the patio and waitress offered water for my dog. The staff is extremely helpful (suggested the onion rings and they are delicious). The burger was very good and the chips (fries) were perfect. We will definitely be back!“
“I had a business meeting in the area, so I decided to check out a new restaurant. (New to me.) I found this restaurant tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, surrounded by a few other restaurants. I tried to compare how many people were at this restaurant vs. the others. It was hard to tell.. when I walked in, it looks a bit like a pub. Small, dark, wine on every wall, and just enough space around each table that you could easily have a wheel chair or stroller roll through. There were two waiters and a bartender managing the front. My waiter was also accepting wine deliveries, so another waitress stepped in to help. I never had to wait long to have someone stop by or look over to see if I needed anything. If you've ever seen the tv show Cheers you'll get an idea of the ambiance and service. The burger was great! Al Green is playing on the speaker as I type this. I have a new spot for a date night when I feel like driving off the island.“
“The food is great, and the service was wonderful. Our waiter was very friendly. Also, we are on the carnivore diet and they let us just order burger patties without paying for the whole burger.Dietary restrictions: Carnivore friendly, you just have to ask“
“We had a good time. Tako is top notch. Drinks were good. Didn’t have food. Just saying. I’m a Republican, conservative and not offended by much, nor was I at the bar. In our litigious society today however, it only takes one individual to rain down buckets of feces on a little innocent adult fun. Recommend a certain bottle opener perhaps be handled a bit more discreetly. After all we aren’t in Wisconsin anymore Dorothy.“
“Delicious grilled rainbow trout and greens. Service was slow. Manager took my friend's glass to refill his tea and dropped it off on the counter by the tea and went into the kitchen area. He didn't emerge and bring the tea for almost 10 minutes. However, he was very friendly and pleasant. The place was clean.“
“Food was outstanding and the value was amazing. Large portions, hit and fresh seasoned to perfection. Delicious! Even if you don't live here it's worth the trip if you're hungry and don't want to spend aa fortune. West Columbia's gem of a find.“
“Great little place for breakfast and for lunch. Haven't had dinner there yet, but I'm sure it's just as pleasant. Went for breakfast a few times, most recently with the kiddo, and she got a double yolk for her sunny side up eggs, which was a very welcome surprise as this girl loves eggs.Chicken fried steak is amazing. Fried shrimp are great, too. Fried green beans and fried mushrooms are also a favorite.“
“Had lunch there after doing a job at Phillips 66, man!! The double meat burger was huge! Delicious! Juicy! Well cooked! And the fries were also very good! It took a little longer than we expected but they were very busy. It was well worth the wait! Will definitely be back next time we come to sweeny! Staff was very efficient!“
“Wife and I came here not long after they opened. Had been to the Needville restaurant a couple of times, years ago, so I bragged about the food. That experience was absolutely horrible. Food, service, appearance. Everything was awful. On a whim, went there again last night. A complete 180. Cfs was great. Sides were great. Wife's mushroom jay was great and cooked perfectly. Alyssa, our server was amazing even though she was extremely busy. Way to turn it around!!“
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Best restaurant in Lake Jackson. We love Beef O'Bradys. The entire staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in. We have become weekly regulars. (We love Whitney) They serve Impossible Burgers ™️ Someone like me, who has a meat allergy (Alpha Gal Syndrome) vegetarian options are a blessing. The soft pretzels, fish and chips, and shrimp with fresh salad are my favorites. My husband is obsessed with the chicken wings and their burgers. Sorry, I have no photos. Our fat butts eat the food, and there is no photo shoot. ?Vegetarian options: Impossible burger.“
“So impressed, but when you call in order, ask for them to transfer you to lake Jackson restaurant, if in your area, I ordered the ultimate feast and calamari, I had specific stuff I wanted on my order, I was skeptical, but to my surprise, how old saying goes, you get screwed thru the drive thru, the manager I talked to, got my order ? right, I was so happy, I was in heaven with no complaints, definitely do it again, so on point and more with a take out meal, definitely do it again,ty??“
“Came in with a few ppl and got A1 service from my server Kalei! She was awesome. Super polite, well spoken, and fast. Not once did my drink get below 1/4 cup before I had another one right in front of me!! Can’t get much better then pancakes and fast sweet “
“Better then most around here for breakfast however the chicken fried steak was tiny. The potatoes are like a bowl of chopped up French fries, nothing like breakfast potatoes and not seasoning. They were strange and the waffle needed to be a bit more crisp, it was soggy. The sausage patties were over cooked, dry and crisp though. Even know cooking preparation was off it still had better flavor then the other choices around the area for breakfast. They came closest to a real cream gravy then anywhere else we have tried around here, they did have a strange taste not usually in cream/sausage gravy an odd herb maybe extra time or bit of rosemary that stood out and was different then traditional. They did actually use some seasonings so that's good. The service was great. There were a couple employees, maybe management or owners standing outside the kitchen, right in the dinning area grumbling and look irritated/mad about something. Thankfully they were not loud about it. It need kind of effect the mood of the place though. Not sure the price was worth it to return though.“
