“We hosted a rehearsal dinner for 38 at The Local a week ago and everyone there loved it. Gaye offered a wonderful selection of dishes to choose from for the buffet. We had Chicken Alfredo with Bacon, mac and cheese, roasted vegetables, fish tacos and peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was delicious! We were seated in the private room off of the front entrance which is elegant and quiet. The serve staff were friendly, professional and served us quickly. It was a lovely evening we will all remember. Thank you!“

“You think you've ate good food before, but when you eat at the Bulldog Cafe, you'll see that now you've ate at the best cafe in Brazoria Texas. Probably best in Texas, all their. food is fantastic. I go there for breakfast and lunch, my favorite is the double meat hamburger. The breakfast plate has 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns and a biscuit, really great food at a really great price. “We recently utilized The Dirty South for a special occasion in the event room. Hands down, 10/10! The waitress, Karen, was spectacular to our guests. The venue was clean and ready for us to decorate. The food was crowd pleasing with huge portions. We will definitely utilize the restaurant again!“

“My wife and I are regulars at the Pub. They have good food and we enjoy the bartender, Natalie. We went there 2 weeks ago on a Thursday and she wasn't working. We waited 10 minutes and left because nobody acknowledged us at all. This week we went on July 5th. Our favorite bartender was supposed to be there. However, we learned that the young manager caused a scene by approaching her on her day off, in front of other employees and customers. That's no way to manage employees. I won't be a regular again until I hear this is resolved. The manager owes an apology.“

“Great food, service and atmosphere“

“I ordered the 9 piece fried shrimp. I got my plate and honestly, I have seen better shrimp on a chinese buffet. They taste as bad as they look also. I ate one shrimp, and now I am standing in the parking lot writing this review. It took 45 mins to get my salad, and I am in a party of 10 adults and 3 children. At the 55 min mark, the disappointing shrimp came to the table. I will not recommend, and will not return. You cannot fry flash frozen shrimp and call it homemade. That is ridiculous. I would like to note: although the service was slow and subpar, the staff was nice and polite.“

“While I generally like ihop, it bothers me that management cannot keep enough change in the tills for the cashiers to give back change. My bill is consistently $11.67. I give the cashier a $20. I leave a $5 tip because the service is quite good. Most of the time my change is returned as $8.00. I know the servers are paid horrible wages but who is pocketing the change. Is it the servers or management. I know it is only 33 cents but it is the principle of short changing customers that bothers me.“

“The waitress took all night to give me a straw for my soda and she made a face when I asked her for the second time...just because it's full doesn't mean it's a good experience. And each table provides you with your salary as a waiter. I worked in restaurants for 15 years. and I can give that opinion.“
