“The service is great and friendly! The food came out hot and well seasoned. I thought it was good bang for buck. To get a 5 star the food would need to be better.
The restaurant definitely needs some TLC. There are paint chips on the wall, dated flooring and older seats.
They do have a mammoth head replica which is cool. Parking lot is large“
“We have been out 3 weeks in a row for Taco Thursday…yep, they’re that good! You can’t beat the atmosphere and the service has always been very good. Tonight our waitress was Meagan and she was awesome!!! She was very attentive and went above and beyond to find the answer to a question we had, thank you Meagan!
If you have not been since it switched back to Hook’s, come check it out and check out the upstairs patio, it’s our favorite.“

“New organization, Chowboys, running the restaurant part now.
Tried the hot dog, fries, and regular cheeseburger.
All were good. Home made burger patty, not that frozen puck you'd get from other places.
Fries were seasoned and fresh.
But the star of the show was the hot dog.
Tasty and made to order.
The lady working the grill was nice and generous. It was a pleasure meeting her.
The atmosphere? It's ok... Can't expect everything from a gas station restaurant.
Needs some updating... 🤷♂️.
Overall, I'd say it's worth a stop.“

“We come every time we’re in town! This time we even brought the dog! We loved sitting on the patio, their shrimp is so yummy!! My pup enjoyed his food as well! Service is always great! Will be back! ☀️🌊“

“The chili fries were delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever said that before. My 11-year and 19-year old devoured them. It was very loud and we may have been seated between two sound system zones- we had competing music the entire meal, we thought it was funny:)“
