“We got incorrect Google directions...turn right on the gravel road BEFORE Ocean Drive in Surfside Beach; otherwise you'll find yourself in soft sand & driving into the ocean! Had to walk up a ramp to enter, the A/C inside the place was too cold (I had on a long-sleeved sweater). My man friend & I decided to sit outside near the Gulf. Tidal waves were rolling in constantly. I ordered the Treasure Chest; he chose the grilled salmon. Food was delivered HOT, FRESH & tasted delicious!
Vegetarian options: Didn't see any options on the menu...
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with kids of all ages are welcome...kids walked up & down the stairs leading to the seashore (under their parents' watchful eyes of course).“

“We drove about an hour just to come try this place out. Always looking for a solid restaurant/bar on the water. Drinks and food were all very good, a little pricy but worth it just for the beautiful beach steps away and for the great live music. We had a great night with our toddler here, and will definitely be back again soon!“

“Delicious mango habanero wings, the fried sampler platter was the best I ever had...normally at other places the pickles and mushrooms are soggy inside. Not the case here, the pickles were crunchy and yummy, mushrooms were good. Onion rings. Chips and queso. Good ole bar food hit the spot! The best part was the hospitality of our server (she was so nice) and the manager (who may also be the owner) who engaged with us and made us feel at home.“

“This place is exactly what you think it is- a divey little beach bar and burger joint for the locals, by the locals. It’s wonderful for it. You can tell that this place is a community staple as soon as you walk in. Surprisingly, this place has a few vegetarian items on the menu, and they’re above average. They have a pool table, and a decent outdoor dining area. They’re incredibly dog friendly, and were so kind with my 2 year old pit bull, they gave her pets and our server even brought her treats. I come to the Jetty Shack every time I’m in Surfside and hungry, and I’ll definitely be back again.“
