“We took our Precinct 3 bus there yesterday after touring SeaCenter. We were 24 in total and had made reservations beforehand.
Our experience was outstanding. We were greeted at the door and sat promptly (even though we arrived a little early).
The food and service were phenomenal. All of the food tasted fresh and we all commented on the quality of the food.
Our server, Charro was fantastic too!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Lake Jackson!“

“New organization, Chowboys, running the restaurant part now.
Tried the hot dog, fries, and regular cheeseburger.
All were good. Home made burger patty, not that frozen puck you'd get from other places.
Fries were seasoned and fresh.
But the star of the show was the hot dog.
Tasty and made to order.
The lady working the grill was nice and generous. It was a pleasure meeting her.
The atmosphere? It's ok... Can't expect everything from a gas station restaurant.
Needs some updating... 🤷♂️.
Overall, I'd say it's worth a stop.“

“A positive thing. Our little group SAS (Senior Adult Singles) had a little holiday/Christmas party and we chose to eat at The Jay Cafe in Lake Jackson. We also elected to have Turkey and dressing (dispite gorging on this since Thanksgiving) Amar accomidated serving this on Saturday night (instead of their usual Sunday offering of the same) and the food was great. Our server was so sweet and accommodating it only added to a great evening.“

“A great experience, even better with the various alcoholic specials they offer. Getting white girl wasted on $2 mimosas on a Sunday evening is a worthwhile experience to have alongside the surprisingly good and well priced food. Plenty on the plate for the price! We got lucky and there was live music just a couple buildings over, eat outside, it's good for ya!“

“Love the Honey Baked Ham store in Lake Jackson! The manager and staff are always super friendly and helpful. Don’t forget to grab a ham bone from them next time you cook bean soup, they are full of ham and it makes a nice meal.“

“Can’t believe we forgot about this place! We’ll be back soon. Everyone got something different and everyone was happy with their choices. Great redfish, steaks, fried chicken tenders, and big portions. The service really stood out as exceptional and they are dog friendly!“
“Food was excellent. Try the sweet potato fries. Wings solid. Great happy hour drink prices and the house margarita is better than most. Only downside was it was kinda loud. They had a DJ on a Thursday night and we opted to leave when done eating because we couldn't hear each other.“

“it is great, 5 stars, i was visiting my sister who lives in Lake Jackson. catfish and fried oysters fantastic. crawfish queso divine. the oysters on the half shell a little dehydrated, but flavor great. I would go every week if I lived close.“

“I recommend the waitress Monica Barrera at the IHOP in Panorama City Calif as she gives such great and wonderful service. She asks if everything is ok and always comes back to give refills. This is much appreciated. Best wishes from the original Johnny Blaze, and "may the Blaze be with you."“

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“

“Was on vacation in the beach area. My Husband and I being dancers wanted to find the nearest dance hall for the evenings. We decided to stop in this place for a dance night. The drinks were more than fantastic. We have traveled a lot of places, and this is one of the best drinks we’ve ever had. I was generally surprised for a little small honky Tonk like place. Music was great. Dj was lots of fun. Everybody was friendly. Played an equal amount of line dances and country swing. We had a really good time.“

“My coworker and I dined in for lunch. Andrea was our waitress and she was amazing. She's friendly, our food was hot, and came out fast. I appreciate that I didn't have to ask for drink refills. Everything was great! We'll definitely be back!“
