I sat outside and watched several events where people were trying to go out the in, making a traffic jam. I also saw a truck back into a tree that really should not be there. Those tacos probably cost him a couple hundred dollars! DO NOT BRING A TRAILER. Saw that mess, too. The inside is clean but noisy. It's meant for quick in and out dining or takeaway. I will absolutely come back, but earlier here is definitely better. It gets hopping busy...“

This place is awesome in every way if you know what great tex mex and fantastic service is supposed to look like. I judge by the simplest of terms in Tex Mex food as it's a simple cuisine that relies on the right combination of spices and materials to be both authentic and delicious. We have that nailed here. So for all the tourists looking to be seen in the fancy place dumping loads of money on overpriced and not so good food, keep going down to that place on Main in San Antonio. Otherwise to see what it feels like to be treated and fed like family, go to El Rio in Boerne. Also, don't order more than one margarita without a driver. They go down like Kool aide and are to die for. I will drive across San Antonio and pass all the other places for a plate of enchiladas in Boerne. Atmosphere is authentic and the family run feel is as real as it gets. Don't expect mariachi singers unless you bring a band. This is the real deal. So five stars isn't enough, but they get it easily.“

“Our server Mr. Runfeng today ( 11/1/21) was so rude. No friendly personality at all. From the minute we walked in, he just pointed to where we needed to sit then he came over and didn't say hello how are you. All he said what do you want and then when he brought us our food he never came back over to see if we needed anything else to drink or anything and then when he did come back to our table he quickly set the ticket down on our table and didn't say thank you for coming or anything so when you wonder why you didn't get a today.. maybe you'll stop and think that you need to be more friendly to your customers.“
