“We were a group of 28 adults. Each ordered separately and a large variety of food was ordered. Everyone felt quite full and commented on very delicious meals. The workers took the rush as if it was business as usual. No errors! We will go again.“

“This is a quiet little place on the bank of the San Banard river.out of the way off the beaten path and well known to the locals as the place to be. The food is beyond excellent. The owners are very nice people whom we got to know as we are. I can recommend the fried flounder with a side of collard greens. There is a well stocked bar with mixed drinks and a large assortment of wines by the glass or by the bottle. I will go back soon. Luxurious setting baby grand piano, outdoor seating with mosquito netting. You will enjoy your meal and the view. Don't miss this one!“

“You think you've ate good food before, but when you eat at the Bulldog Cafe, you'll see that now you've ate at the best cafe in Brazoria Texas. Probably best in Texas, all their. food is fantastic. I go there for breakfast and lunch, my favorite is the double meat hamburger. The breakfast plate has 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns and a biscuit, really great food at a really great price. “THE MANAGER, MELISSA IS AMAZING, UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSIONATE, AND ONE IN A TRILLION BOSS, AND A GREATEST FRIEND. THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, ASHLEY IS FUN, FIRM, ENTERTAINING, AND A GREATEST FRIEND. MY WHILE WORK FAMILY HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME THE CAR WRECKS, THE HOSPITALIZATIONS, THE LOSS OF MY PUPPY. I CAN NEVER SEE ME NOT EVER LOVING MY WORK FAMILY.

“I have been to The Dirty South several times because the food is amazing but unfortunately the servers have always been super slow, distracted by talking to each other and not knowledgeable of the menu and drink offerings. Last night we had a large group of people and the service was AMAZING! 🤩 Our server Megan was the BEST I have ever had there. She was attentive and friendly! The next time you go and eat here be sure to ask for Megan! Side note to the owner: you need to hire more staff like her!“

“My wife and I are regulars at the Pub. They have good food and we enjoy the bartender, Natalie. We went there 2 weeks ago on a Thursday and she wasn't working. We waited 10 minutes and left because nobody acknowledged us at all. This week we went on July 5th. Our favorite bartender was supposed to be there. However, we learned that the young manager caused a scene by approaching her on her day off, in front of other employees and customers. That's no way to manage employees. I won't be a regular again until I hear this is resolved. The manager owes an apology.“

“A positive thing. Our little group SAS (Senior Adult Singles) had a little holiday/Christmas party and we chose to eat at The Jay Cafe in Lake Jackson. We also elected to have Turkey and dressing (dispite gorging on this since Thanksgiving) Amar accomidated serving this on Saturday night (instead of their usual Sunday offering of the same) and the food was great. Our server was so sweet and accommodating it only added to a great evening.“

“it is great, 5 stars, i was visiting my sister who lives in Lake Jackson. catfish and fried oysters fantastic. crawfish queso divine. the oysters on the half shell a little dehydrated, but flavor great. I would go every week if I lived close.“

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.“

“I came here a couple days ago alone to study for Finals for college i was greeted by this one host she was really nice and sat me down. my waitress was also very nice made me smile a couple times had a great vibe(I don’t remember her name) the food was good just your normal American food. I had a triple dipper and it was great!. but the highlight was the host who came to take over the other host shift. He was a skinny brunette, and he had some baggy jeans and all I gotta say is that he was one of the most gorgeous and beautiful boy’s I have seen I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. After I was done with my meal and walking out the door, the guy gave me a warm smile and wished me a good day. overall The service, the atmosphere, and the food was great. would most definitely come back when I’m back in town.“
