Asian Buffet is one of the better Asian buffets in Brownsville. The soups and sushi are always awesome, and the food is generally delightful. There is a good selection of seafood, including plenty of shrimp and fish options. However, the fried food tends to be more soft than crispy, and some customers noted the absence of calamari, even though it was mentioned as being served. The restaurant offers a variety of fresh choices, catering to everyone's taste, including vegetarian options. While the taste, cleanliness, service, and price need attention, the wait staff is quick to clear used plates and refill drinks, earning a higher rating for service. It has a below-standards cafeteria feel, and a makeover could improve the atmosphere. Parking is available as it is part of a shopping mall, and there are lots of choices for kids at the buffet.
