“I enjoy stopping by this HEB because they usually have the Flaming Bird items that I'm looking for. The other HEB that I frequent tends to run out of their Flaming Bird items quickly, but I understand why. On top of them having great food, they have great service! There's one employee in particular, Rocco, who will go above and beyond to make your dining experience better. I have to say, his customer service skills are fantastic and so is his warm disposition. I'll definitely be returning to this location for my Flaming Bird needs! :)“

“Every time we come to Brownsville it is a must have. We usually get the strawberry and peach or the strawberry and pineapple. I can't find it anywhere in San Antonio. If you haven't tried it you absolutely should. You can only order through the window. Use the doorbell and they will take good care of you“

“What a hidden gem <3 She has THE BEST cupcakes I've ever tasted. It was a chocolate & creme cupcake filled with coconut topped with a whip cream frosting that was just the right amount of sweetness. Her empanadas de cajeta were also generously full. You can tell the owner has a passion for baking. 100% recommended.“

“Rollo de Mango is my to-go dessert, it is beyond scrumptious. The dessert is filled with natural pieces of mango and the frosting is amazingly delicious (not to sweet). Too bad mango is not always in season :(“

“You can't find a place like this in the lower valley. So beautiful, the atmosphere is awesome, and I just tasted one of the best burgers in my life.

The parking situation is like any downtown scene; limited and you should probably learn how to parallel park. Don't pay the meter on the weekends!

There is always a sax player on Sunday brunch and he's incredible! They have jazz playing throughout the experience.

Bathrooms are so clean you can practically eat there!

The food is just amazing. The soup and the burger were incredible and that keeps us coming back. Lovely place for a date or for a nice family brunch! Can be a little pricey so keep that in mind.

“My daughter’s birthday cake has been made here since she was born. Even my baby shower cake was an exact replica of what we get her every year. It’s become a tradition. I was a bit skeptical when I heard there was a new owner, but the taste and quality that Linda’s is known for, is still very much in the desserts. The new owner is so kind, and has updated quite a few things, and the hard work shows. I’m very, very happy that we get to continue my family tradition with amazing cakes!!!“
