Have tried different tamales while here in Brownsville & these by far are the best!! Much fuller & tastier than others!! Only request is to include some sauce with them!! I’d pay a little more if you could send sauce along!!

Lopez Tamales offers delicious, freshly-made tamales with great texture and flavor. The tamales are served hot and the prices are reasonable, around $10 per dozen. Customers recommend calling ahead and paying in cash, as the business only accepts cash payments. Despite its unassuming appearance, Lopez Tamales is highly regarded for its authentic, homemade tamales that are better than major tamale chains.
