First want to start by saying since this place opened it has been an at least once a week stop for me. Hands down some of the best tacos I've ever had, especially the tripa and lengua tacos. Best Mexican food in town! No lie! I've never been disappointed in the many times I've gone!

Food Plaza Taqueria has been a weekly stop since it opened, known for some of the best tacos, especially the tripa and lengua tacos. The orange salsa and green sauce have been amazing pairings with the street style tacos. However, a recent visit found everything tasting extremely different: the orange sauce had an overwhelming chipotle in adobo sauce flavor, the green sauce was very watered down, and the pastor tacos tasted mostly of cloves. It seems the cooks, the recipes, or both have been completely changed. The breakfast burritos are a good deal for the price and quality—they're huge, and you can get a hash brown with a burrito for $6.99, plus a fountain drink of any size for 99 cents. The Trompo plate did not disappoint; the orange hot sauce added a nice kick of heat, and the tacos were loaded with well seasoned trompo meat that was tasty and tender with a nice crunch on the outside, plus grilled onions, a cilantro/onion/radish mix, and standard rice and refried beans. Overall, it was worth stopping to try. There are nice employees, very good food, and a clean kitchen where you can watch them prepare your food. It has a convenience store atmosphere with tables to sit down and eat.
