“Just had a delicious, hot meal of the largest crispy chicken tenders I have ever eaten, right here in this little gem in Eddy Tx, just south of Waco. It was served with a choice of fries, tater tots, or sweet potato fries and Texas toast. Mrs Sara who helped me is a very business and customer service minded young woman with a big future ahead with her husband! So good to meet like minded people in the Lord!”

“Texas heat calls for eating light. J Petal & Poke is just the place to go. Went today for the first time. Ordered a bowl with salmon, shrimp, and chicken on brown rice. Lots of great toppings, like mango and purple cabbage. Sesame and ginger sauce brought it all together. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I’ll be back and you should give it a try. You can thank me later.”

“On a Thursday night, we ordered a take out over phone and stopped by to pick up, they were preparing for closing, and stopped cleaning as we walked in and waited till we pick up and leave, they was very welcoming. The pizza was delicious, full of toppings. We ordered a Vegetarian pizza and they added Jalepenos without extra charge.”

“- Oh Wow! First time Ever having Lucy's. It was such a Homecoming Visit, I was greeted & Served By Ms. Lucy Herself. The atmosphere was welcoming and homey and the food ( I ordered the chorizo Mexicano Breakfast burrito, it also came w hash browns & 2 hot & cold salsas 🌯😋) great portions, was soo good! Definitely intend on coming back 💕”

“The one thing I have missed in TX since moving from NC and that is Bojangles. I stopped at this location on my way from Houston to Fort Worth. Faiz was great and could not be friendlier. She talked me into getting some BoBerry cookies and I am glad she did they were soooo good. The tenders were fresh and juicy and of course the fries and Sweet Tea brought back being in NC. I wish they had better seating or some tables outside, that would be my only complaint.”

“1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!”

“Stopped here while traveling down I-35. Our kids loved the playground and had a blast getting some wiggles out after hours of driving. The staff were also very friendly and courteous, and the food came out hot and exactly as we ordered. We really enjoyed our stop and will definitely stop here again the next time we are traveling this way.”
