“Just had a delicious, hot meal of the largest crispy chicken tenders I have ever eaten, right here in this little gem in Eddy Tx, just south of Waco. It was served with a choice of fries, tater tots, or sweet potato fries and Texas toast. Mrs Sara who helped me is a very business and customer service minded young woman with a big future ahead with her husband! So good to meet like minded people in the Lord!”

“Texas heat calls for eating light. J Petal & Poke is just the place to go. Went today for the first time. Ordered a bowl with salmon, shrimp, and chicken on brown rice. Lots of great toppings, like mango and purple cabbage. Sesame and ginger sauce brought it all together. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I’ll be back and you should give it a try. “1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!”

“I was honestly a little hesitant to order from a Marco's in a Cefco, but there's no reason to be. It's small, but clean and tidy, and staffed with friendly folks. Great subs, too!”

Chicken tenders: excellent! Very tender and juicy! Very flavorful.
Biscuits: soft and fluffy, but plain
Fries: good!!! I like the spices they use and were fried just right!
Mac and cheese: Delicious! Liked this second best after the tenders.

Service was good! Ladies behind the counter were nice!

Downsides: There is no place to eat there, just a bar type island against the window. I wish they had bone-in chicken, cuz if the tenders are that juicy, I’d love to try bone-in chicken! Also, I ordered sweet tea and got unsweetened tea instead! It wasn’t horrible, but I’m a sweet tea kind of gal! Overall it was good.”

“The app said 24hrs at first. Then it said closed but reopened after midnight. I drove up there to pick up my mobile order. The drive thru had a velvet rope of the orange conical variety.
I figured I would go through the inner entrance after I finished at Love's, but it was closed off. The app told me my order was being prepared. I drove around to the window. I sat for ten minutes before just driving off.
Picked them up the next day. They made them wrong at first, but corrected them promptly without issue.

Parking: Not many spots close to the building. Hard to find a place during any rush of ppl
