“We thought the same but we realized that the bank was the one that was rechaging us and in most of restaurants also do it but its just the bank recharging most people. The food was delicious the prices were reasonable good service nice people.And now we pay with cash.“

“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“Cute place! Super clean and welcoming environment. Ordered at the counter and was welcomed with a warm and friendly employee. Food was fantastic! Great price for portions (fried rice was huge!!), great lunch combo and very fast. Would definitely come back. I’m gluten free and they even had gluten free sauces (never seen it before) amazing!!!“

“Customer friendly does no justice to how they make you feel there. Had my first date there. My white shirt was employee of the month. And it showed outstanding service trust your server explain what you're looking for and they got you from top to bottom outstanding customer service beyond belief. Lobster tacos yes . “I went to dine-in with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. We didn't have a reservation, yet we were seated without too much of a wait time. The average plate is around $45.00 but totally worth it. The wine menu is great, good selection of by the glass wines and huge selection of bottles.

Got two chef's choice sushi rolls and a Kirin Ichiban and the wife got a chicken fried rice dish with some sake.
All in all good experience and would come back if invited out and Sushishima was suggested.“

“This place was a pleasant surprise on our visit to San Antonio. The food was good, atmosphere was clean, good music, and good for conversation. But the best part was the service. Our server, Derrick was very attentive but not annoying, helpful with the menu, and great energy and attitude. We’ll definitely be back here anytime we’re in San Antonio!“

“Our food was exceptional at the Fair Oaks location. Service lacked a wee bit but the food was dynamite and the portions were overwhelming. If you’ve had HEB sushi (it’s mediocre by comparison) you’ll be astounded by this! We will be back. The seaweed and squid salad was probably my favorite and I wanted more!“

“Went camping w my gf wh hates camping....needless to say it wasnt enjoyable. couldnt wait to get back to civilization and eat a hearty meal. We drove pass the resteraunt w/o noticing it...but luckily we did because there was a chicken fried steak of the gods wheel barrelled over to our table and dumped onto plates....i was so glad to finally make the non camping gf happy! Didnt last long as soon as ahe seen how much i tipped our (jaw dropping) waitress...the meal n drinks was $35 and i left $80 cuz i believe it was worth it...oh yeah the tall glass of water who brought us our drinks was referred to by Tara i believe....plan on going back by myself very soon!“

“Made a reservation ahead but didn’t need it. Inside was very clean and friendly welcome. Great server, nice attitude. Quick order and food on table in about 10 minutes. Food was very delicious. Server filled drinks as needed. Ambiance was very nice and not over done. We loved it and will return.“

“Been coming here for a few years now. Yufeng is always consistently so delicous. The hot and sour soup is unlike any other, it’s served spicy and super hot. All the different plates we’ve ordered are always so good. We have yet to try something we don’t like. On top of that, the service is always great. We used to eat here multiple times a week, even on back to back days at times. Now that we’ve moved an hour away, we try to make it out at least once a week. Yufeng is literally what we miss the most about San Antonio!“

“Excellent food. You can't go wrong with shrimp paisano. We arrived a little before 3pm, so we were given the lunch menu. My husband wanted a steak which is on the dinner menu. Waitress said the grill isn't fired up until 4pm. So we waited until 4pm to order his steak. Other than that little quirk, everything else tasted great“

“We are from NY and this was our 2nd time in SA, I met your server Ashley across the street & she informed she worked for you. We came for dinner the following evening and Ashley was 1000 amazing! I wasn’t feeling well and she treated me like a Queen. As an ex server myself I must say she was wonderful!!! Best service !! She deserves a raise !! she was perfect in every way. She was the sweetest and kindest person to us. Even got me a water to go for my upset stomach! We will definitely come again when we come back to visit! Ashley you ROCK!!!“

“Great find in the lower Hill Country/Guadalupe valley! Excellent menu for people new to Indian food and for more discriminating tastes. Staff is nice and helpful. The saag, tikka masala, traditional curry and tandoori dishes are all really good, but the garlic naan steals the show - order it with everything! I also enjoyed the chicken biryani - sort of a fragrant fried rice dish. This place has become our go-to, even with all the great little cafes and diners in the area.“

“I found myself at the hoppy monk after a rare flash flood warning with severe thunderstorms where I took advantage of massive solar array disguised as covered parking.
I got a duchess burger (not on menu) which comprises of .25/5 patty, Romain lettuce, sautéed onions on a brioche bun. Oml was this just the most amazing burger.
Compliments to the team in the back at the hoppy monk and the bar tender on his recommendation.

“The people here are absolutely amazing. My car overheated and shut down in the middle of the road in front of their parking lot. They pushed it off the road and into their lot and let me wait inside until my ride got there. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They had their guy go out and look at the car and try to get it to cool down, one of the ladies went across the street to buy oil for my car. Absolutely amazing!!!“
