“I truly miss the Lampasas locationThe spicy chicken sandwich had a secret spice that made it super spicy! Pregnancy cravings kicked in today and I was expecting the same from Lampasas but it didn't have that kick! It was still delicious!“
“Overall, it's a great place to stop for home cooking. Sorry, I didn't think to take pics of the food. For dinner this place was very good. I had the meatloaf mashed potatoes and okra. The potatoes didn't seem instant, unlike what someone else said it was. The size of the meatloaf was good for me, but for others, it may need to be a bit more, like 2 slices instead of 1. My sister had the Big Texas, which was a large sandwich and tasted good. However, the bottom was soggy. My daughter had the steak, and she said that for the price, it was a tasty steak. She ordered medium rare but got a medium well. The Rubin sandwich was really good but could use more dressing. Catfish was great and large portions. We all had pie and different ones. Overall, all the pies were great. Lemon was a bit strong, though. My favorite was the brownies pie.P.s. this restaurant is across the street for a location Vinyard.“
“Freshly cooked food. Not the place if you're in a hurry. The chicken pot pie is wonderful. Sweet tea, just right. Baked Mac and cheese is the best!Parking: At lunch, parking is an issue due to being on the square across from the courthouse and with other businesses open. Evenings are no problem though.“
“Always looking for the tastiest mexican food... and we found it! beef enchilada gravy was delicious! Crispy beef taco seasoned perfectly. Refrieds, rice and tortillas were the best. We really enjoyed the very casual atmosphere. Just great food for a great price. No frills, no alcohol. We are going back tomorrow to try something else on the menu.“

“Excellent service and food was prompt, hot and delicious. Kids loved the pancakes and Belgian waffles. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. Husband had the omlet which he loved as well. Waitress was attentive and sweet and out drinks never ran out. The only thing I'd change is that it is a bit cramped in there but it was also very busy so still gave 5 stars.“
“Looking for a good quick meal? This is the place. Great variety of entrees that they keep refilling. Well stocked salad bar. Good choice of desserts that are included with the buffet. Friendly servers that keep the drinks refreshed.Kid-friendliness: Two Large dining areas so no problem with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Upper dining area has a ramp down to the buffet table.“
“I had the ribeye dinner, which was pretty good. The steak was slightly over cooked, but not enough to matter. Sadly, the veggies were soggy and garlic mashed potatoes cold, so I'm giving them a little ding for that. Otherwise, I enjoyed it and will probably try this place again sometime.“
“The diner that looks run down from the outside turns out to have some of tge best food ever tasted. Have their chicken fried steak and you won't be disappointed. What got my attention was their tomato soup. Best I've ever tasted. Will definitely be back!“
