Mexican Restaurants in Camp Wood

“An old dive if you will but a small local business—the service was great and food was phenomenal. Our group had barbecue stuffed potatoes, 3 meat platters with brisket sausage and baby back ribs, their potato soup, side salads and fries. The baby back ribs were delicious—the flavor came from the wood they were smoked with no dry rubs or sauces. The side salfs were of decent size with mostly lettuce but some spinach and salad greens too. Would love to go back and try their pizza as well. It was 6 minutes from The Riv resort which are it nice to be able to get some food and not drive too far from the river. They had 3-4 different homemade pies as well. Fresh flowers on the tables were a nice touch along with photos of birds of the area as well. Fantastic food and experience.“

“The place to be if you want to know the “ins and outs” of Camp Wood. Family owned and operated for over 30 years. You can go healthy and eat off the salad bar and pick off the buffet, or order off the menu and you will be just as satisfied. The burger tops most burger joints. The only bummer is that it isn't open for dinner.“
