“We visited on 1/11/25 while visiting family. The coffee machine was down so Jackie asked if there was anything else she could get us. Substituted a soft pretzel. Had ordered a medium unsweetened tea. Let them know it was wrong. Brought us back a large unsweetened tea. We were not upset that the order was wrong just brought it to their attention. Both times they corrected the issue graciously without us asking for anything. This is our opinion of great customer service. We appreciate your Castorville Sonic. “You know how most chains are dotted around, but there's always that one that stands out and is your plan A if time allows?

This is THAT McDonald's.

Their food is too good for fast food. It still comes fast, but their burgers are always juicy and full of flavor. It's not that they're unexpectedly good (they were), it's that the food is the best I've ever had at any fast food chain.

Please browse my other reviews. I'm not an AI, and I'm not in any way affiliated with this franchisee or the Mcdonald's corporation. Their food is always just better.

“This Whataburger is pretty decent considering that it's part of an HEB gas station too.

I'm not singing the high praises of this place but it's actually pretty good.

The people there are nice enough and have been very helpful in redeeming my points on my app too (they did a great job of helping me with that).

Don't be scared to stop in and buy whatafood here...it's the reason I'm doing a review.“

“The sweet cashier, Nevalhely (spelling?), was wonderful! She was friendly, helpful and courteous. She made sure everything about our meal was perfect - even double checked with the kitchen to be sure it was done correctly. The food was fresh and delicious!! “Went with a friend. I ordered the Five Dollar meal deal. Bacon cheeseburger, 4 piece nuggets, small fries and small drink. For five dollars and nine cents. It wasn't such a bad deal.
One negative was the meat patty. It seemed it was premade and over heated one too many times. Other than that, everything else was good. The fries were fresh. The chicken nuggets were good and the entire meal was filling.
The day I went their soda machine in the dining area was broken. But we were able to get any style of drink from the drive thru area. Next time I go I won't be ordering the Bacon cheeseburger. Only because I wasn't impressed with the good portions of bacon. The slices were on the thin side and the patty was over cooked on the edges.
Nuggets were good sized, seasoned well. They had a good taste to them. The fries were hot, lightly salted and fresh tasting.
I was pleased with the portions of my order and was very surprised how filling it was.
I did get more of my money's worth here.“
