“I love the Ilha Formosa Taiwanese popup on the weekends. The lunchbox, sesame noodles, beef noodle soup, and winter melon tea were delicious! I prefer my sesame noodles cold in typical Taiwanese style with julienned carrot, cucumber, and egg, but they serve it warm, so pro tip to order that item to go and add your own fixings at home. Also request to add mustard greens to all dishes. I wish the popup were available weekdays too! Very nostalgic items, and will definitely become a staple. My only suggestion is to add more lighting, as it’s a bit dark if you dine in. For now, just order your items to go.“

“Absolute favorite sushi spot in Austin! I’m vegetarian and the tofu roll is amazing! Corn cheese and veggie tempura appetizers are also delicious. My friends love the fish rolls and the poke bowls which are so fresh and full of toppings. Super laid back place, family type service and so enjoyable to eat at. Suuuper fair prices as well! Highly highly recommend.“

“I am unsure why this place isn't super busy. The people are so nice and the place is owned by the same people that own fat Dragon Chinese. The food is really good, pretty good quality for really reasonable pricing and really cute decorations ♡ my husband and I came here for a date night and the food was yummy .“

“This family run restaurant is a breath of fresh air in an area inundated with restaurants owned by PE. The food is always good and the family that runs it is kind. I like to get the hibachi plates they have. My wife likes the yakisoba and katsu don. My son likes the omurice. Prices are much more reasonable than surrounding options.“

“Ha I wasn’t so sure from the onset but it was worth the short wait. Portions are very nice and food is made well. Definitely like the soup dumplings. Kimchi rice 🍚 with shrimp was tasty. Will definitely be back.“

“I liked how accommodating they were to the group I was with. The kids ramen was huge and delicious. I got Ramen with egg on it. I just wish they had more beverages. At the place. I loved the noodles, and the broth.will be back.“
