“I spent a week at Spirit Wild Ranch back in 2006 and it was a fantastic time. It is a beautiful spot with every type of landscape you can imagine. From massive fields broken by wooded areas to picturesque water frontage on a crystal clear creek, it offers all kinds of opportunities for several species. It is well groomed and cared for to ensure longevity of future visitors. The accommodations were excellent, as was the company. Ted and family are salt of the earth folks and I wish more people had the opportunity to meet them outside of the normal media circus. Great place, beautiful accommodations & fantastic people. Highly reccommend.”

“Every experience I've had at Poppa Bear Boba has been fantastic! The owner is just amazing, and on top of that, both the drinks and the food are great! Forgive my spelling, but the sandwiches are phenomenal, and you can't go wrong with a Tai tea. .y wife prefers sweet stuff, and had the coconut cream milk (might be the wrong name, but you'll see it), and it was delicious...though a bit sweet for my palate!

I highly recommend them, and hope you'll give them a try! I've heard the Pho is great, and the weekly specials just seem delicious! I'll definitely be going back!”

“We were in on Christmas Eve. Short handed crew, crowded with customers. Alexis and (Butter)John along with the duty manager took care of us like we were the only people there! The kitchen did an excellent job on the steaks and the vegetables were perfect. Baked potato was as usual, ready to eat with plenty of butter, and hot. Got spoiled by these guys! Happy for sure.”

“Best pupusas in central Texas, I have found. It hidden in little neighborhood, but I’ve learned from spending a lot of time in El Salvador that those are often the best places to eat! Prices are good. They have both pupusas con arroz and masa. A rare find in this area. They also have Honduran and Mexican food. Woman was Salvadorean. Prices are reasonable. Big menu and they accept card and Venmo in addition to cash. Staff was super nice! A must try!”
