“Authentic. Lunch yesterday was great! I had Guisado de Puerco and Rita had Chicken a la Parilla - the sort of food that mi hermanos brought for me every day for 2 weeks when I worked construction after I got out of the Navy, dead broke and waiting for my first paycheck. That was lunch yesterday - homemade Mexican food. The flavor was perfect, not over spiced or too much heat from the spices. I could taste the pork, the green chili, the beans and rice. I cleaned my plate and finished the little bit of what Rita had left on her plate. Bonus: the waitress and server were very nice and welcoming. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again soon.
