“Music is a little too loud - I could barely hear my son. There should be a "Seat Yourself" sign on display. It was our first time there. No one greeted us, and we had to interrupt a few workers talking (after waiting for about 5 minutes to try to get their attention) to ask if we sit ourselves down and receive table service, or if we had to order at the counter. Other than that, the food was delicious. I love their salsa. We definitely will return!“

It's clean and very authentic Mexican food, their corn tortillas are handmade by them, hands down the best dish I've had in a while! it gives: mom's calling us for dinner vibes. ??If you are in the area this place is a MUST try the food! You can walk from the gas station, and the owners themselves welcome you. The place is very clean and the food is authentic Mexican, even the corn tortillas are handmade. “My rating is slightly more than just four stars because of the good flavor of the food.I had carnitas and asked for pork skin to be added. The server piled on the pork skin so it seemed that I had more of the skin than actual meat. The taste however, was good on both.I also ordered menudo and asked for corn (hominy) to be added. The server piled on the corn so it seemed that half of the container was corn and not menudo. Once again, the taste was very good. I will say that it did have a little too much grease on the top of the soup though.I think the flavors are there but what I received based on the above, could have given me a better overall experience. I went there for carnitas and menudo which should have been what I received the most of and not the sides (pork skin and hominy).Fix the ratios of what is served and this would definitely be a five star location!“

“The tacos are very very good, I honestly recognize the flavor of both the trompo and the steak.Unfortunately NOT EVERYTHING IS EVEN GOOD, THEY TAKE LONG ENOUGH! Wait 30 minutes for 3 orders of tacos and some prepared beans!Prices within the norm and worth it for the flavor“

“I compare every other taco spot to Los Reyes. They have the best tacos I've ever had. I always order Fajita and Pastor with all the toppings and then add the Salsa Verde and lime. Literally the best. I've been going to the Los Reyes locations since I was a child, and now I'm bringing my own children. Easily over 25yrs. All the locations have been really good, and this one is no different.I remember coming here when they first opened. I lived in Channelview and my family was stoked to finally have one so close! You had to order at the window and the had two picnic tables on a porch outside. Food is just as good now as it was then. There was a period a couple years ago where they were skimpy on the meat in the tacos, but the last couple of times was a step back to what I remember them being like.I will continue to go here no matter where I live in Houston. My family only eats here once every couple of months, but it's genuinely always great. They close at 5pm for some reason, and seating is not the best, but you'll be happy that you went regardless. And don't ever suggest a spot to me if the taco place you're recommending serves basic onion/cilantro tacos. Those all taste the same! I have tried EVERY single spot on Sheldon, and none of them are close to the quality and size of Los Reyes.“

“I was looking for tortas with amazing beef because I don't like them too dry or with too much fat. I got a torta and tacos, both of which are my favorites! Especially with green sauce! ? No dryness or excess fat. They provided alert coasters, which are PERFECT for deaf people like me. They also accept cards. Success!“

They have plenty of seating and everything you need to have and amazing meal. You can buy it by pound or taco, and they have all the goodness you could want. Carnitas. Cueritos. Buche. Lengua. Patas de puerco. And much more! Enjoy!“

“This is the first time I visit Marcos Seafood. My dining experience was great. I had a Vuelve a la Vida cocktail and it was delicious. Then I had the fried shrimp and fish. All food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was nice with good music. The price to dine here is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this place.“
“This is probably the best Mexican breakfast I've ever had. My wife even said it was better than her grandma's food. We had the Chorizo and Eggs & Bacon, Egg and Potato. Both were incredible, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, and so was the bacon and chorizo. The tortillas were delicious as well. Their beans were also good, not too fatty or watery like some places tend to do, they were just right. This food was also a bit cold by the time we got home and ate it, and even like that it was still incredible, I can't imagine it warm. Their salsas are great, I recommend the green one if you're not into spicy food because that red one, I'm not sure if it's always like this or it was this batch, is really spicy. I used the red one because while being really spicy it still tasted good and enhanced the flavor of the food. If you're in the area, and even if you're not, I highly recommend this place, it is worth the drive. I cannot wait to go back and stuff my face!!!“
“This restaurant is delicious, like it says “Mexican food” it is not Cuban, Puerto Rican, Venezuelan or other type of food, it’s Mexican food! So no plantains and arepas… it’s tacos, enchiladas, chips and salsa and many other Mexican goodies! Love this place and the people that work there are so kind and friendly“

“First time eating here in what looks like a hole in the wall place in a small strip joint. Lively music playing making you want to dance. Quick service during the lunch hour. Very good waitress attending to us. Ordered the chicken enchiladas verdes and as you can see in the picture they were all eaten up. Lots of chicken and cheese. Would eat here again. Also ordered the shredded meat Gordita that was huge, filled with lots of meat but next time I will order either bbq or fajita meat instead. Ordered the 5 mini tacos which were the best. Had fajita and bbq and both were very tasty and filling.I want to come back to try all the other goodies including the flour tortillas that looked wonderful.I do recommend giving this place a try. They have karaoke on certain nights and do carry beer.“

“Had a late night craving for (good/quality) birria. Called as they were about to close but they still honored my order. I ordered the birria tacos and it was the BEST I've had in houston so far. Flavorful consume and NOT greasy. One taco had enough meat filling for two. It's a little far from me but I'm willing to make that drive.“

“It's nice that they come to your car to take your order. The bistec tacos didn't seem to have any seasoning, so I wasn't very impressed with them. The beans were ok. The salsas are really good though and may be enough flavor for some. We also liked the cucumber-lime drink.“

“In the heart of Galena Park, Texas, a small but popular establishment called Rosita's Bakery has been quietly weaving itself into the fabric of the community for decades. With its mouthwatering pastries, warm hospitality, and a deep commitment to the town's people, Rosita's Bakery has had an indelible impact on the Galena Park community.First and foremost, Rosita's Bakery serves as a culinary safe haven for locals. A welcome change of pace from the selection of Fast-Food restaurants in the immediate area. From the moment one steps through the door, the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked conchas, muffins, gingerbread, and just recently introduced tacos and dinner options envelopes you. This humble bakery truly offers a slice of authentic Mexican cuisine for locals and commuters alike. Beyond the delectable treats, the bakery has become a hub for connection. Galena Park's citizens come together over cups of coffee and bread, fostering a sense of unity that transcends borders. The daily influx of customers creates a buzzing atmosphere that encourages spontaneous conversations and friendships. The locals are regulars, and those who work close by become regulars. People running late for work become heroes if they show up with a bag of breakfast tacos. These actions make the bakery not just a place to eat, but a sanctuary for building community. Moreover, Rosita's Bakery has consistently given back to Galena Park in numerous ways. The support for local schools and community events is unceasing. This past fall, Rosita's Bakery donated sweet bread and pastries to the Galena Park High School Football Team. As someone who has a relative on the team, words do not describe how much that selfless action uplifted their morale. Rosita's Bakery stands as a pillar of community involvement. It is more than just food; it is about investing in the town's growth and well-being.Economically, the bakery has been a catalyst for local businesses, attracting visitors from neighboring towns who often explore the area's other offerings. The town's identity is enriched by the presence of Rosita's Bakery, contributing to a thriving local economy. This cherished establishment has also preserved cultural traditions, ensuring that the younger generation remains connected to their roots. By sharing the flavors and customs of their Mexican heritage, Rosita's Bakery nurtures cultural pride, acting as a bridge between generations. Truth is, I have often found myself taking my proximity to such an establishment for granted. As an adult, it takes some adjusting to life without a local bakery. Whenever I visit my parents, there is always some sweet bread on the table. To me it is more than nostalgia, it is home. In sum, Rosita's Bakery is not just a bakery; it is a cornerstone of Galena Park. It is not only a place where people gather to eat, but also a place where people connect and create memories. The impact is felt in the warmth of its embrace, in the friendships forged, and in the cultural legacy passed on. “I heard so many good things about the place. Finally, I had time to try it out. The place is cozy and well cleaned. They served chips and salsa which was on par. I ordered a house frozen margarita and it was pleasantly good. They provided a menu and what was on the steam table. They said I can get two meats with rice, beans and tortillas. Everything was amazingly good especially the mole. I would suggest to try it out and see what you think for yourself.“

“Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Our waiter seemed like he was bothered or wasn't in the mood to serve today. Didn't get our queso, was forgotten about. Been here a few times, first time having a less than desirable waiter. The tamale on the Soldato plate seemed dry and reheated from a prepackaged serving from the store.“

“great place to spend time in the cool, dark bar. lots of old building ambience. enjoyed a beer and they brought the chips n salsa. had tacos (very good) and slowly drank the second beer. they were not busy, so they let me take my time. great hospitality, but they never forgot about me-- got fajitas. these were fantastic. well seasoned and delicious, but the meat was perfect. it was like the chef chose the most tender, delicious pieces because they were perfect. by this, i mean you could put them in the tortilla and take bites without pulling everything out of the wrap. if i have had better, i don't remember. this place is fantastico!“

“Growing up near the heights taco nazo on Fulton in north side has always been my go to when it came to tacos so I was shocked to find out there is a taco nazo on the Southside of houston. At first I thought it was an imposter but we came last night and they taste just like the ones in north side. Can someone confirm if NS taco nazo is the OG and these are simply relatives or what ? Food: the tacos and quesadillas were amazing. Top G. Just like the ones you get from taco nazo on Fulton. Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The tacos and quesadillas seemed a little bit bigger too than the ones I am used to getting in the NS. They also have tortas at this location. You don't see that at the one in NS. I would definitely come back. They line wasn't as long as Ns either. They were very fast and nice. Got us in and out pretty quickly. I'll definitely come back to this SS location asap. Like asap rocky. If someone knows the history of taco nazo let me know. I've also been to the one on Longpoint it's good but the use different cheese and their tacos are tiny. I have also tried the one off Irvington. Pretty solid as well. Stop in and give them A try if you want some amazing tacos.“
