“I really like this plactakeoye off Freeport St. I have been going to this lady and her taco stand for a long time and she is not expensive like most places in Channelview also its full corn or flour tortilla and she doesn't charge extra for cheese . “Ordered through DoorDash and saw that there would be an hour wait for delivery, I didn't care and ordered anyways. When the food arrived, it was still HOT and it tasted as if it was literally made when I ordered it. The Pupusas revueltas were good, but the chicharron con queso were even better. My favorite dish though was the chicken tamal. It's hard for me to find a good salvi tamal that tastes fresh and delicious. “This is the restaurant of a hotel (you don't have to go through the hotel to get there and don't have to be a guest). The food was great - though if you order one of the soups, you shouldn't order anything else to eat (I made that mistake and was quite full afterward). The atmosphere was nice. This is a cute little Salvadoran place out in the Mexican neighbourhood in the East part of Houston, and they do good pupusas and it's hard not to like them. Greasy, unhealthy, hearty, hot, tasty. Especially the Revuelta/Mixta. I'm a big fan of pupusas in general, and I think these are some of the better ones you can get on this side of town. Pay no attention to the review that borders on xenophobia, because the food is definitely good and definitely cheap, and Pupusas always take awhile to make but they're fresh and they're worth the wait!“
