“Cheddar has multiple locations throughout Texas. We visited the College Station location while visiting family members. It was noon, so it was not full. The food was good, but it took way too long to serve. The kids were hungry, affecting the table mood. The waiter was sorry, but he was dependent on the kitchen. Besides the food delay, the experience was good.“

“Got the Texas Smoker Potato and the my ma got the 3 piece Chicken tenders, naked with a side of cream gravy.

The Texas Smoker was hefty and had a good sauce to potato ratio. Even though it looks absolutely drenched, once you fork a bit of brisket, Colby Jack, rib tips, and potato it turns out perfect.

Be careful of the rib tips, they still have small pieces of cartilage running through them as you would expect.

The chicken strips reminded my ma of DQ strips from the early 2000's. She was plenty happy with it for the price.

There's a small patio area to the right of the order window with bench tables. 3 tables that can comfortably fit 3 people on either side.“

“we always eat breakfast at cracker barrel in Bryan TX while we are on vacation every year. always great food and great service. this week sadly it sounds like they need to update the ordering system because our server had issues putting our order in and it took along time to get our food. thankfully this has never happened before and we will continue going to cracker barrel. we love looking in the store as well as our grandkids love it.“
