“Great traditional steak house with a slight twist on staples. The steaks were perfectly cooked (a high maintenance medium minus) with the sauces adding extra difference. The sides of smoked mashed potatoes had a subtle smoke flavor that blended well, and the poblano cream corn was just the right consistency and flavor. Dessert (don't judge) of cheesecake and Marie Antoinette were both the way to end things. Seriously good food. Our server was very personable with good suggestions, attentive not obtrusive, and worked well with the others that assisted. Felt very at home, not stuffy, we will absolutely be back and highly recommend it!“

I fell in love with Korean cuisine after living in South Korea for a year and this is the most authentic tasting Korean restaurant I’ve found in years. So glad I found the hidden gem that is Choi’s Restaurant. You guys will be seeing alot of me. It makes me sad to see negative reviews about wait times when the food is so good. I would just recommend eating here when you have time to spare or suck it up.“

“A staple of College Station. This is a must visit if you are in the College Station area. We have been coming here for years. The service and the wings are great! If you are in town for the big game, make sure you stop in. But, they are crowded on games days so leave some space in your schedule.“

“We finally gave this place a shot, and wow! I hadn’t eaten pupusas in a while and totally forgot how good they are. My wife and I each got two, and I would have ordered more if my wallet wasn’t screaming, “No more, please!” I’ll definitely be coming back just for pupusas to go. Those things might be my new food obsession.

The plates we got were okay but nothing amazing. My wife got three loaded chicken tacos, and I had the fried chicken with plantains. The chicken was a bit dry, but the plantains were really good. The waitress was super nice and explained some of the menu since it’s mostly in Spanish. Without her, we would have been totally lost. Also, the menu is huge, so we took a while to decide.

The place itself is small and crowded with tiny tables, but that is exactly the kind of vibe you get at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. The chef (and owner?) checked on us a couple of times, and you could tell he really cared about us liking the place. That kind of attention is rare.

It’s a bit pricey, especially for lunch. So like I said earlier, your best bet is to get a bunch of pupusas at $3.49 each. Honestly, three or four of those would have been filling enough and cheaper than the big plates.

Bottom line: Pupusas are the real stars here!“

“Sunny provides the most excellent dishes and fantastic presentations in all of College Station. He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. The crabmeat paste in the rainbow roll had a slightly unpleasant taste. The Fantastic Roll was put together incredibly well and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, this place gets my recommendation.“

“Cheddar has multiple locations throughout Texas. We visited the College Station location while visiting family members. It was noon, so it was not full. The food was good, but it took way too long to serve. The kids were hungry, affecting the table mood. The waiter was sorry, but he was dependent on the kitchen. Besides the food delay, the experience was good.“

“It’s been a while since we had chilis I forgot how good the food was. Chilis Grill & Bar has some yummy drinks ,appetizers and food. I started with the $6 margarita of the month which was Berry Dragon the blend of flavors was amazing and some cheese sticks for appetizers . The cheese sticks were huge! I couldn’t barely eat 1. We tried the 4 for me meals. I got the lemonade which came in a huge variety of flavors. I tried the prickly pear lemonade. The soup was baked potatoes soup ,delicious and the plate I tried was the Cajun shrimp pasta!! It was all amazing!! Hubby tried the steak and shrimp which I stole a bite and his steak was great too😘 he has the spicy margarita which he loved he ordered a 2nd. We were quickly seated. The waiter was friendly as well as the server. We had an excellent experience we will return to try out what other menu options we love.“

We enjoyed the #1 and #2 with hummus and bread, falafels and Baklava, and found the atmosphere to be very calming with the sound of water trickling from the water fountain.“
