“Great traditional steak house with a slight twist on staples. The steaks were perfectly cooked (a high maintenance medium minus) with the sauces adding extra difference. The sides of smoked mashed potatoes had a subtle smoke flavor that blended well, and the poblano cream corn was just the right consistency and flavor. Dessert (don't judge) of cheesecake and Marie Antoinette were both the way to end things. Seriously good food. Our server was very personable with good suggestions, attentive not obtrusive, and worked well with the others that assisted. Felt very at home, not stuffy, we will absolutely be back and highly recommend it!“

“We finally gave this place a shot, and wow! I hadn’t eaten pupusas in a while and totally forgot how good they are. My wife and I each got two, and I would have ordered more if my wallet wasn’t screaming, “No more, please!” I’ll definitely be coming back just for pupusas to go. Those things might be my new food obsession.

The plates we got were okay but nothing amazing. My wife got three loaded chicken tacos, and I had the fried chicken with plantains. The chicken was a bit dry, but the plantains were really good. The waitress was super nice and explained some of the menu since it’s mostly in Spanish. Without her, we would have been totally lost. Also, the menu is huge, so we took a while to decide.

The place itself is small and crowded with tiny tables, but that is exactly the kind of vibe you get at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. The chef (and owner?) checked on us a couple of times, and you could tell he really cared about us liking the place. That kind of attention is rare.

It’s a bit pricey, especially for lunch. So like I said earlier, your best bet is to get a bunch of pupusas at $3.49 each. Honestly, three or four of those would have been filling enough and cheaper than the big plates.

Also wanted to share how beautiful the cook was on the fried chicken dumplings I ordered yesterday. Everything was delicious, affordable and filling. I fell in love with Korean cuisine after living in South Korea for a year and this is the most authentic tasting Korean restaurant I’ve found in years. So glad I found the hidden gem that is Choi’s Restaurant. You guys will be seeing alot of me. It makes me sad to see negative reviews about wait times when the food is so good. I would just recommend eating here when you have time to spare or suck it up.“

He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. “While drinking coffee with my sister and having a very heart felt conversation, one of the waiters, Chris, came up and asked us if he could pray for us. Our waitress was so sweet as well. They could see that we needed a little uplifting and they definitely made it happen. Our waitress did not charge us for our coffee. Exceptional service. “It’s been a while since we had chilis I forgot how good the food was. Chilis Grill & Bar has some yummy drinks ,appetizers and food. I started with the $6 margarita of the month which was Berry Dragon the blend of flavors was amazing and some cheese sticks for appetizers . The cheese sticks were huge! I couldn’t barely eat 1. We tried the 4 for me meals. I got the lemonade which came in a huge variety of flavors. I tried the prickly pear lemonade. The soup was baked potatoes soup ,delicious and the plate I tried was the Cajun shrimp pasta!! It was all amazing!! Hubby tried the steak and shrimp which I stole a bite and his steak was great too😘 he has the spicy margarita which he loved he ordered a 2nd. We were quickly seated. The waiter was friendly as well as the server. We had an excellent experience we will return to try out what other menu options we love.“

“Cheddar has multiple locations throughout Texas. We visited the College Station location while visiting family members. It was noon, so it was not full. The food was good, but it took way too long to serve. The kids were hungry, affecting the table mood. The waiter was sorry, but he was dependent on the kitchen. Besides the food delay, the experience was good.“

The only thing I had a problem with was we went and sat at a table on the upper deck so we could talk because there was no one up there and the lower deck was crowded. Just after we sat down two employees came up and started to drag all the tables and chairs around. Being heavy wooden tables and chairs all they could do was drag them across the floor making a lot of noise. This went in for about fifteen minutes then just as it got quiet again they started doing it in the lower deck. Was impossible to hold a conversation.“
