“I found this gem when I googled places to eat in Columbus. I am local but had not a clue they were there. Felt like hitting the food lottery. Brisket melted in my mouth! Buttered potatoes were actually “buttered” potatoes! Green beans were outstanding. This is definitely a new regular for me and my family. It’s really hard to find good bbq. Even harder to find people that actually bbq for real. So many call themselves bbq but it is actually made in an oven. Not at Woods BBQ. You can taste that yummy smoke flavor and see and smell the pits in the back. If you haven’t tried I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Came here for my daughters birthday and had an exceptional experience. Food was amazing, Victorian style building is a perfect setting. Will be coming here for other anniversary occasions for sure!”

“We have been going to Schobel's for more than 20 years. Good breakfast but, for the price, the coffee should be excellent and it is NOT. Good coffee makes a breakfast and Schobel's restaurant has very poor coffee. Service is usually very good (like Donna) but the young lady this morning needs training.”

“I love the pimento grilled cheese and asked Jane if I could buy in bulk for my trips. I've used her twice now and everyone loved it! we order cheese, extra pesto and the dipping sauce and make the sandwiches ourself at the event. She vacuum sealed everything so it was super easy to bring camping and not worry that it would get water in the container in the cooler. Will use her more in the future and you should too! :)”

The mango lassi is refreshing and perfectly balanced—smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. And the masala chai? Hands down the best. The flavors are strong and comforting, and you don’t even need to add sugar—it’s that good on its own.

“They catered my wedding this past Saturday. We decided on the brisket, sausage, butter potatoes, green beans, mash potatoes, and coleslaw. Hands down it was a hit! One of the biggest complaints people have at weddings is the food is not good. I had a ton of people calling to let me know how much fun they had and also how they enjoyed the food. It was extremely reasonable and I will be visiting them again soon.”
