“We were at a winery in Weimar TX and ask someone we did not know for a recommendation for a restaurant between there and Richmond Tx. There were 4 in our party. Without any thought ha told us to go to Lamberto’s. It was a great suggestion. We were welcomed when we walked in. Everyone was smiling and friendly. They had a good beer & wine selection. I had chicken perm. My wife and one of our friends had chicken piccata and one had ravioli. The food was excellent, served hot. The rolls were fresh made and one of the I’ve ever had. We shared a tiramisu for desert. It fresh made in the restaurant and again, one of the best I’ve ever had.This restaurant was a great find. I highly recommend it when you’re looking for great Italian food. We thought the prices were reasonable for the portion size and food quality. We will definitely stop in again when going through Eagle Lake”

“Stopped here for lunch on the way home from the coast.Lone Star Cafe is a small community café between two towns and very much worth pulling over for of you're in the area.The food was served without hast and very homey. I wish the taco meat had a little more seasoning, but the chicken was on point and something I'll try preparing at home.Can't wait to visit again.”
